Preparing Large Canvas for Framing - Wood Canvas Floater Frame- American Frame 

i love that...am waiting for my print to arrive soon as it does am taking it to get framed ...i live in Germany

I bought 3 of your black wood floater frames # 80079 for the first time last week. They look great- nice and substatial.

Shouldn't the artwork be painted all along the edges of a canvas to do a floating frame?

My big thing ...is. Frames are not complicated. If you want a frame and it's not for canvas, it can still be used. Canvas can be mounted on thin material to fit ANY frame. Paper can be placed on canvas stretchers just like canvas to frame in a canvas frame or metal

What kind of cost should we expect to create a float frame?

NO. Canvas does NOT need to breathe. It hasn't got lungs. This has been asserted by knowledgable conservators many times. The solvents in the medium will off-gass from the front.

This canvas seems to be sitting proud of the frame, I would prefer my painting to be set back so it is protected more

What is the air tool you're using to clamp the wire?

What is the name of the wire?

whats the size of the canvas mam?

Do you actually drill through the canvas frame?
