when sterilizing in pressure cooker, do the lids need to be on the jars, or just aluminum foil? thanks

Lids should be on jars as need sterilised aswell.

Yes any whole cereal grain should work.

Hello lad! Thank you so much for doing this brief. One quick question, do I put the grains in cold water and let them simmer for 20 minutes or do I warm the water first and once it’s fully hot, I add the grains?

I use hot water as its quicker.

No, however you can perform PF-tek to create spawn (which can be done without a PC) then use it. Read this, i'll cover it in a video soon got a bit of a backlog at the moment. ezmushroom.com/grow/how-to-grow-mushrooms-without-a-pressure-cooker/

Thanks. I don't think I've ever seen people rinsing the grain before cooking. I'll give that a try When you say the words "tiny" and "touch" you demonstrate that you can use the "T" sound, yet why do you pronounce "waTer," as "Wa-er"
