Hi Thank you for the video! I have watched so much of your videos while on this preply tutor journey and you explain very well and in simple terms for those of us that are new to the platform. I also introduced alot of your tips from your video for trial lessons and managed to increase my trial lesson conversion. I am very grateful and I don't think you understand how your videos impact other lives! THANK YOU!
Honestly I don't think that letting students negotiate prices is a good advice. People don't do that with language schools, so they shouldn't do that with tutors either. If someone asks you that, my advice is to say "For the amount of work that I put into preparing the classes, I can't keep charging the current amount. What we can do instead is to adjust the duration of the classes so we can keep working together".
Does this apply for trial lessons? If a student has only booked a trial lesson at the price before increase, will they still see the old price or the new price?
