@@presadentialcommander3649 the high pain barrier is what makes them good with kids... Well u know what I mean with educated kids like u guys. I only trust bull breeds. my son fell on my pit and the dog was like a crash pillow lol. and he just looked up and wondered off like whoa why wake me. but if it had been a collie or something I'm sure the dog would have reacted with a pain action reaction. my next will be a presa. I've had a big American bully x rotty he was great with my baby but he passed then I took the pit in a direct rescue and gave him his new life he old now but he's has a chance to show ppl how nice dogs like these are. I'm in the UK and we have similar law to some states but there are presas every where. you guys are a fine example of a family who knows there dog. that love wow. commander been getting binge watches today he great I'm a hook up with him on ig
We have a 8 month old Cane Corso and Presa Canario mix, and boy let me tell you this: He is a 50/50 mix of both. Your Presa is so calm and well mannered. Ours is a bundle of energy and we love that about him. So affectionate but at a moments notice totally on guard. Bikes, joggers, cars, or tractors dont faze him at all but he does not like when someone is walking behind us. He will sit and wait until they pass to going back to being his goofy self. He is about 100 lbs
Hi Chris!! Cane Corso and Presa mix! Wow.. two great breeds in one dog. Commander is now entering into his pubescent stage and his manners are starting to slip.... so we are putting in work to get that under control. He is starting to jump at cars on our walks. Fairly new behavior. We for sure appreciate his tender moments. It's not as often as most people think but we certainly try to pull out the camera to get some great captures while he is more relaxed. Thanks for watching!!
Damn 100 plus lbs allready?...He is what 6 and half months now?...I just weighted my boy 64lbs at 5months one week....super glad you shared this video so I could see 2 mastiff puppies playing...was starting to get a bit concerned about how my presa was playing with our unknown mix breed puppy...not anymore...thanks again
Commander will be 6 months! He was born on March 20th of this year! He will def be on the bigger side of Presa. We love being able to allow him play time with bigger dogs. It really helps him get his energy out! They really do have a unique style of play!
Beautiful K9's and thanks for sharing that wonderful video. There is also a ointment called Nu Stock that is great for old or new wounds and will grow hair back.
We are not professionals by any means, with that being said, do your research. Stay in contact with the breeder for guidance. These dogs are every bit of what they say they are! Make sure to start training immediately, set boundaries, & stay consistent! We cannot wait to hear more about your journey with your new Presa Canario puppy!!
I would recommend that the Hips are OFA certified to minimize Hip dyplasia. Bigger dogs tend to get it more often. Its a crippling disease unless the dog gets surgery and even that, dog will probably never run the same. Backyard breeders never get the hip certified. Its best to pay more than go thru this issue. when i first saw the Cane corso 25 years ago, the average male dog size was about 80-110. Now they are getting 150 pound plus! thats brining on more hip problems. not worth the size IMO. Ill stick with the original size of 100-110 pounds and even that is not a guarantee.
Thank you! If you have watched our "10 Cool things to buy your presa canario puppy" video, you will see that this collar was actually a hand me down from a previous childhood pet. Its an awesome gift!
I don't care how How close you are to a Prussia Canary if they want to get away. They get ing away. I don't care how fast you are, they are getting away. I got one, his name is moose, he should be, too. In December, there is so fast and active. And all boy, hes a great dog. The best one and the bestones. I had long with the rottweiler. He is dynamic, tough, strong, and powerful. His name is moose.
That is one thing we love about him too! Our other dog is a boxer so he doesn't really have a tail! Plus, Presa tails do that cool scorpion thing when they are alert!
No he doesn’t, his paws are too big for him and his muscles are developing so its harder too move since hes a puppy, hes 100+ lbs at 5 months, its hard to move as a pup
@@ThePyrazHD I used to work for a vet and we treat hip dysplasia. It can start to develop at the age of 5 mouth. I am not saying this dog has it but he has the signs. Im not saying this dog has it but keep an eye on him. I would never buy a large breed pup without some Hip certification on the parents. Even thats no promise that the offspring's wont get it but its helps. We treat HD by shaving the ball sockets and the dog will never be able to use that leg without human intervention by exercising the leg to prevent atrophy.
@@t.m.y7033 I used to work for a vet too. A jog like that as a puppy is completely normal when you're projected to be 160-180lbs full grown. Have you ever seen a baby tiger, lion or wolf jog?
@@ThePyrazHD Yes i have. would you like me to take my post down so people wont get concerned about this crippling disease? I dont want to keep going back and forth with you.
