Do these employees even know that they are Public Servants and that their job descriptions spell out their public service duties. They are giving out employee awards for what they should be doing on a daily basis to qualify for a paycheck!

I do not consider people heroes who are doing "THEIR JOBS" and getting paid overtime and hazard pay to do it. The real heroes are the people who jump in and help each other, when it is not their job, and they are NOT being paid. Because it is the right thing to do. I live on the gulf coast, and we get hit by hurricanes. We go out of our way to help each other. Help patch up homes where possible. Welcome people into our homes when theirs are badly damaged or destroyed. Share our food and water supplies where needed. To clean up and open roads so food and water supplies can be trucked in and so utilities can be restored. No one is getting paid, and NO ONE is being recognized by any city or county for what we are doing. We don't care, we know it is the right and Christian thing to do. Yet "first responder" are recognized when they do very little, compared to all the non-first responders.
The first statement the chief of police made after the Uvalde massacre was to thank the brave police officers who saved the children. Turns out that the “brave” cops were too cowardly to confront the gunman. They hid out in the hallway while over 20 children were obliterated. Officer safety is code for cowardice. I remember when cops were heroes. Turns out they never were.
@@paulfernandez3747 yup, no excuse hurting a delicate woman like that, who was absolutely no threat to anyone at all, and all I can think is, if that was my wife he done it to, my next move would probably be kamikaze, because at the end of the day, the one who victimized her will not be held accountable, we the people, the tax payer, will be the ones held accountable for the p/o/s bully with a badge crimes against us.
It makes me sad for some ignorant people who don’t even know the 1st amendment. I call some of these people boot lickers. 🤪then you have public workers who work for us wearing a badge and gun violating people’s rights and sending people to the hospital for no reason. Disgraceful and disgusting!

This city's financial accounts need to read $0.00 after this lawsuit is settled. The city counsel has no one to blame except itself. Defund the police? This town doesn't deserve a police force.

Wrong. Good cops catch criminals. Who’s going to do that. What is needed are police that know and respect the people rights. A law suit is a good start. But training, accountability and transparency is the ultimate goal.

It will be against the city's insurance. However, like Louisville, KY, there were so many high dollar lawsuits that their insurance carrier denied the contract and then the city could not find any insurance carrier to protect their financial interests. So, to be clear, the People of Killeen, TX need to redress their government with the actual suit indictment and the future of city's financial stability, they MUST assure the People that every government employee be properly trained on the Constitutional rights of the People and to never transgress them again!
I was in Kilkenny in the US Army 1974-76. The only run in I had was getting stopped for no tag light on a van I bought. It had a commercial tag which was cheaper, back then the tag stayed with the vehicle. Didn’t even write me a ticket. There was not even a tag light 😃😃
A big L on the guy who wants to eliminate general aviation. America is one of the last few places that citizens can easily obtain a licencse and fly around the country. Our airports are disappearing.

Hey CJ- remember: Chicago v. Morales, 527 U.S. 41, 53-54 (1999). The police cannot ban you from a public place without providing advance notice of the contact that will result in a ban, and after they do ban you they are required to give you an opportunity to contest that decision
They refuse to hold workers accountable for criminal and unprofessional conduct, yet praise them for doing their normal duties they are expected to do.
You need to have the Clerk of the Court assign a file number before the papers are served, otherwise, its like giving them toilet paper. You should never serve your own complaint.

Im sure if you check the payroll they will see that every named person was on the clock and getting paid OT. I'm sure that none of those individuals "Donated" their time and assistance to the clean up.
