I was feeling hopeful about this broadcast until I saw the Katie Britt video, which seemed to be a platform for her to endorse her party and to tell everyone how great and moral they are over other people. The anger and level of visible hate this woman has for The President is not only disturbing but has become the increasing sentiment among the republicans. During the speech, very few of them applauded to any of the president's points and their body language clearly conveyed that they do not care.

This is not an exaggeration: my partner and I were only able to afford to buy our house because of the pause on federal student loans during covid. I had just graduated literally the year it started, got a raise and went full time at my job and we saved like crazy for the down payment. Now that student loans have resumed, our spending power has dropped, leading to longer wait times before we can invest in our house and land. We don't mind paying back our student loans, but it does have ripple effects on the economy.

If it weren't for Obamacare, I don't know how I'd get health insurance.

If you're a Democrat or Independent, I encourage you to watch the entire speech, and I challenge you not to be moved. I had some tears a few times. I've loved this man for 20 years. There simply is no comparison between Biden and Trump. Can you imagine Trump trying to give this speech? Laughable. If you're a Republican, watch this and be *truly* honest with yourself. What do you have a problem with? Taxing billionaires? Paying teachers? Doing his best at diplomacy? Trump has never even used the word diplomacy. He's an unhinged, egotistical, phony-rich clown. I can't be the only American disgusted by the partisanship on display in this chamber.
