President Joe Biden and singer-songwriter Elton John were among those who spoke at the unveiling of the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center in the West Village on Friday.
Biden had a bad night at the debate. His stutter plus a hoarse throat, which he recovered from after one day, didn't help. Joe is back to his old self now.
I'm an actor, so I know that everyone who gets on stage (whether it's a president or a rock star) has an occasional bad performance. My heart went out to him.

I think Trump and the Russians rigged Biden's teleprompter during the debates and caused him to say crazy things. All kinds of Russian collusion going on with that debate.
I think Biden was supposed to leave the stage! Elton John took it with aplomb, growing slightly impatient after awhile… but he barely contained the justifiable urge to give him that light wave of a hand that usually comes when you’ve been pushed to your limit. All those years in the public eye, and his British background give him more class on that stage than I could ever muster! Then again, were there any reason for me to ever be on a stage, I don’t imagine I’d be able to spit out a single word, more less a complete sentence!!!
