Can we take a moment to realize how impressive the C17 Globemaster is?! They stuffed a helicopter, other pieces of heavy equipment plus people inside the C17. And it takes off without the need of a full runway! C17 is an amazing aircraft!

That is a much smaller motorcade than normal. I saw the president in NYC and he had at least 45 vehicles that time. So I can see this is a subdued visit for the Queen.

Sorry but there was nothing 'subdued' about this visit. Just the usual Yank ego tripping and power projection in total disregard for the sad occasion that everyone else respected. They arrived by bus because it was safe to do so. Not the Yanks oh no. What you see here is just ONE C-17 for ONE Marine One helicopter and whatever else it needs that was never used. 3 other C-17s went to RAF Mildenhall to collect the two 'beasts', all the other cars, trucks, fuel blah blah that they deem 'necessary'. FOUR C-17 AIRCRAFT! And then there was Air Force One and Air Force Two as well. Smaller? I think not.

Great video, I worked as a cargo loader for USAF 10 yrs. Did presidential support for Reagan but with C-5A and B's. Loading the armored limousine was cool. Separate plane for those I guess for this event? Brought back memories ✨️ thanks!

Sorry but this is the absolute opposite of 'soft power'. This is all about Yank power tripping and imposing THEIR way on everyone else. There was absolutely no security need for all this crap. The UK is one of the safest countries in the world. London (this is RAF Northolt) was THE safest city in the world over the last 2 weeks and why every other national leader was happy to arrive by bus. BY BUS!. And this was only one of three C-17s. The other two were at RAF Mildenhall. Just totally unnecessary BS.

How I love that plane, able to lift off with only a few hundred feet as if it were a little bird but with the capacity to do an extensive amount of damage if needed with 45 JASSM-ER 500kg warheads if equipped, watching it just melts me 😆 but seriously that plane is awesome.
