In 2015, the Obama family came to #Alaska for the GLACIER conference. While here, they visited several Alaskan cities and villages. At the
#Dillingham Middle School, President Obama was treated to a youth cultural dance performance. #Obama jumped up and danced with the children during the last song.

100% agreed. I had the same thought when watching these videos. Whenever he sees a todler, a child or teenagers, he will make time to say hi and interact with them. In other videos (I can't recall the titles), he made unplanned stops during his business trip to the West when he saw girl and boy soccer teams on the field. He stopped and talked to them and took pictures with both teams!!! So endearing!

Keep in mind...Alaska's a Red state, it's likely very few people in that room voted for him, but he had this funny attitude that he was President of the whole country, not just the places that liked him.

Naw man. Native Alaskans typically vote democrat with a 10+ spread. It's just South-Central & South-East Alaskans that are conservative, but that's where most people live. If you look at a map of the last election- Alaska's Interior looks blue except for Fairbanks.
