Yes I was alive during the Reagan years. I voted for Reagan. You're right -- there were absolutely no black people in the country. Every single person in this damn country was white. Is that what you believe?

the assassination didn't take a lot out of him; and this is 1985, when he's returning from hospital for having colon cancer removed. The dementia didn't come till the post presidency.

Just realize there's 2 helicopters. One for president and staff, the other has rescue squad and even one dressed in flame suit to walk into the flames to get the president out, no matter what.

President Reagan was one of our greatest presidents, but my Humanist proclivities are provoked watching this. I know it was innocent, but I would not have wanted that if I was president, and I wasn't, he was, but even if he couldn't have been, I wouldn't have, because I couldn't have.

interst rates and inflation were cut in half; unemployment fell; poverty fell; real family income went up; tax relief was given across the board; and the USA experienced the biggest economic boom in its history. Reagan saved the middle class from Carter's "misery index".
