I thought the same thing. One thing I notice the way, he tells funny stories it’s almost exactly the way he would do so in public if you watch some of his speeches. For example, when he told all his Soviet jokes on stage. you could definitely tell he was genuine when he talked to people. I don’t think that’s true of too many politicians today.

It didn't help that Reagan was going deaf as he got older too

George W Bush was the last president to fly on SAM 27000 in 2001

Clinton flew on 27000 once before she was retired. Johnson was the first to fly on SAM27000.
