These writers show their bias toward the rich in every scene. Does money mean you cannot make mistakes? That you never have to consider anyone else’s feelings? The male character has no redeeming qualities, in my mind. He’s cold and arrogant, like so many of these “boss” characters, and the female is just pitiful. What kind of message does this send? That you can get away with anything if you’re rich? This series is so messed up. The female should get as far away from this narcissistic man as possible. Find a nice man who will treat her with respect and marry him. The rich guy should lose her because he doesn’t deserve her. The end.
Apparently all wealthy chinese think that they are gods and can never do anything wrong, no matter how evil and cold-hearted they are or how much evil they do in the pursuit of their true God, money
He could, you know, just tell her before hand, like: "i know about the debt and my family wants a check about it, dont take it personal, we only want yo help you since you are about to become family", you know, COMMUNICATION!! But NOOOOO, the ML choose the most shady way posible, by doing the investigation behind her back and being a jerk whe the FL figures out. Welp, lets pospound the wedding until the debts are out! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So she finds out they've done something they know she wont like or agree with behind her back and everyone knows but her...again. I think it's mostly the 'behind her back' part that's really what's bugging her, because if they simply explained it I think she probably have been fine with it. Instead they made it seem like they've investigated her because they wanted to make sure she wasn't after their money...which is ironic because at this point I can't think of any other reason anyone would want to marry into this shady two-faced family because it's certainly not for love and security because the ML doesn't give the FL either on any consistent basis, he's too wrapped up in his own pride and self-image to show or tell how he feels enough for her to feel secure, and his constant need to keep secrets to 'protect her' shows how little he actually thinks or cares about her feelings. They rarely keep secrets for the other person's own good, only their own.
So true. I always thought that he didn't deserve her. Although I don't really like the female lead in the thai version, the male lead is much more likeable and adorable than in the original one👍.
I agree.. but he isn't prideful . He is simple new to pure love. He has lot of money that many girls approached him for. He need to protect him and her.. plus their age gap makes him decide everything for her
If you are going to break up with someone then it should be permanent, all the breaking up and then getting back together is just game playing. It wouldn't bother me being checked out, doing it behind my back would be insulting. The Chinese method of showing you care, grab her by the wrist and drag her down the street. She should have investigated him from the beginning ! He and all of them were users and liars and hiding so much. They act like they are so clean and perfect because of their money but they are narcist users. But as soon as he says sorry she will soon be back with him as all his dramas he does goes. He treats the FL lead like shit and plays many sides but the FL lead will run back to him asap.
When you put advertisements for the next videos over the last minutes of the show those of us who rely on the captions cannot read the final comments. This means we lose important parts of the story and it is very frustrating.

What does she see in this man? He's cold, arrogant, emotionless.....like a block of wood. I don't know where this part is in the storyline but she has gone through hell for this man.....or she will go through hell. He has an ambiguous relationship with a woman who lives with him and his family. WTF. I hated his character. He never seems to fight for her.

Estou assistindo e c drama, mas quando leio esses comentários eu já achava o prota um lixo e agora então ah que ranso, ainda tem aquela amiga de infância, eu acho que qdo se ama alguém tem que deixar tudo claro por meio de dialogo colocar os pingos nos is, ter dignidade, até mesmo pq a prota é muito imatura. minha opinião.
