Those who belong to Jesus, followers of The Way, have many commands to pray given in the Bible. This is from Gotquestions: Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people-for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. @@WalkingbytheSpiritAlways To infer that God does not know what good thing to do until we ask Him to do it, is a presumptuous view of prayer that I do not think the Bible teaches rather, I believe what Paul is speaking about is the fact that when you are praying for someone, you are less likely to seek and/or maintain conflict with them. God is going to do whatever God is going to do & we are left with the choice to do it with Him or against Him, not instruct Him as though HE needed us to tell HIM what that good thing is that He should be doing.

We once had the opportunity to pray with Niki Cruz together for Colonel James Irwin who was in the hospital with a heart attack at the time. I was a teenager at the time. What a cool experience to be praying with my dad, and notorious minister about whom movies had been made, for an astronaut!

I would think him being Lord of the Sabbath makes Sabbath relevant and important. Scripture says "The is still a Sabbath keeping for the people of God." @@levonnesamon3220 I agree, in fact Romans is a fascinating page turner. The entire 14th chapter is about an extra-biblical Oral Torah commandment regarding fasting. The Oral Torah says to fast at least 2 extra days a week. Chapter 15 goes on to say that Gentiles are to keep the commandments preached by Paul for obedience. Thank you for bringing this up.
