Presidential Traverse 2022 - All 11 Peaks in 2 Days 

Just like in the tin you got more irritable and disgruntled as the hike wore on. But the best hikes are the ones where you are the happiest to see the parking lot at the end. 😂

I feel for you, man! The Presi Traverse is a bear. I am below average speed but have good endurance and I tried to do in in 1 day, knowing it would take me about 18 hours. I started at Appalachia and was past Monroe by dusk when my headlamp malfunctioned and I decided to hike back over Monroe to LOTC Hut. Just then dense fog came in and I had to use my iPhone as a flashlight, and was barely able to see the next cairn. Somewhat nerve-wrecking and I was lucky the croo let me sleep on the floor. Day 2 was much easier since it is mostly downhill, but I skipped Webster (which is not a president), which would not be fun on descent. 10 ain't bad... For anyone wanting to do it in 2 days, I would recommend using LOTC Hut as the overnight. I think it breaks up the workload better.
