The question from the Brazilian guy at 1:28:34 was really good. Since Inuits eat almost entirely mammal meat, while indigenous people from the tropics eat a far more diverse diet of different plants and insects, there must be a difference in microbiome diversity.

an interesting question is do babies in industrialised nations carry any of the ancient microbiome and do they lose them as they go from breastfed to a forced unnatural Western diet? Are we born with the capacity to have healthy microbiome that serves and protects us for a lifetime, does the Western diet and lifestyle burn down this healthy foundational microbiome?
