This brother always had a quickening intelligent wisdom and good heart. God bless him, his family, his student athletes, his staff, his friends and his fans. God bless the hatersas well. 🙏 💪
You’re right!! Also, think about this, he has enough players now offensively and defensively so with the other kid number 14 that stepped out there and then you put Travis back on the field. They’re not gonna be able to contain both those people. Just think Dion’s probably got other ones sitting there ready to go to. Let’s Travis, his back, or even before I think a few other teams are gonna fall to him.
Everybody in these comments reaching Travis is a beast coach prime knows if he plays hurt and puts trash Film it’s gonna cool him down and yes they do have other Louie luggage
Many people don't know that Sanders played a whole NFL season with dislocated bones in his foot. Now later in life....he lives with medical problems with that same foot. He protects those college students.
@@davebryant8050Travis isn't injured with playing too much. He's injured due to a targeting play. Maybe if it was related to being overworked your comment would have merit.
Every kid who wants to play college football should be lining up to be part of Coach Prime's team. He's a great mix of confidence, humility, self-awareness, mutual respect, competitiveness, and accountability. I wish his current and future teams all the best.
This right here💯 .... this is also why so many people hate him over pure jealously. These are the traits of a honest and wonderful person and hateful people hurt when they see him...
@@CameronBrooks-ng2cf LOL, you're just lost to how this works aren't you. No one thought the best player in the nation to go to Jackson State! It's a different world now. Players want to be seen and raise their stock. You'd be surprised how many already calling Colorado. Including players playing in the SEC, LOL
The problem is kids aren't committing. I know most people have never been involved in the recruiting process, but the lack of visits by top players is concerning. Other first year coaches at Stanford and Purdue are out recruiting Colorado. I think older people who watched Coach Prime play think recruits care about the same things they do. Top recruits are choosing proven NFL development close enough for their family to drive to games. Some people's family members are scared to fly, so CU is out of the picture. CU is an extremely far drive from most recruiting hotbeds.
I’m not even a football fan but I’m now a Colorado fan and rooting for them. That’s all because of Coach Prime. I used to watch the show he had some years ago. I like his candor, cockiness, professionalism, caring for his players and also his humor. Also he’s just cool! I also like the fact that he cares about his players academics and not just football. He knows that not everybody is gonna make it to the NFL. He is also always polite and complimentary to other coaches from other teams and I really like that about him.
“I’m sorry for cutting y’all off, I just get excited” says Deion, then proceeds to cut off every reporter after that 😂😂 gotta love Deion man, his energy for his team is contagious 🫡
great press conference!! Time Magazine needs to put Dion Sanders on the cover of their magazine as The "Person of the Year". I don't watch college football, but I have this year because of Deion and Colorado. Never seen anything like this. In his short time in Colorado, He's not just made a big impact on the field, but also on the city of Boulder. Nothing but positive. I can't wait to see Deion and his team win the National Title this year.
You don’t watch college football, thus you obviously have never seen anything like this.. Time Magazine Person of The Year? Really. I think not. The amount of delirium surrounding the coach of a basically free agent college team is startling. Between betting, conference realignment and non existent transfer rules, the college game has forfeited the remaining idea of student athlete integrity. I keep thinking about the student athletes who were kicked off the Colorado team. Particularly the Junior and Senior members.
@@Kube_Doghe went professional early and played pro football and baseball and made a lot of money. So it took awhile to get his degree. Few players are going be be better than Deon.
@@billrehm3590Yeah, it took 38 years because he values education so much. LOL!!!! And the HBCU basically gave it to him for nothing because a degree was required to get the coaching job. Clown doesn't value education.
@@Kube_Dog- Takes some people 38 years to get married. Doesn't mean they don't value marriage. Takes some people 38 years to make a million. Doesn't mean they don't value money. Takes some people 38 years to movie out their mom's basement 🧐. Doesn't mean they don't value home ownership lol.
I just love, how Coach Prime brought up that stat sheet about his SON! and said "NO, I wouldn't change anything about him, he knows what he's doing." Coach Prime highest life goals are to ensure he is the best human being to his children. Being a HEAD Coach in College Football and with his CHILDREN playing on the team and for the university, gives him an uncalculatable amount of Responsibility, Discernment, Care, Accountability, Leadership, Brotherhood, Respect and Fatherhood. Coach Prime is a complete fireball in the coaching realm right now.
@@waltercausey2068 agree. He has a shot. But I don’t like his dad fluffing him up and covering all of his mistakes with statistics that are not meaningful. He screwed up big-time in the fourth quarter against USC. Let the truth be told. Almost everyone was blaming the offensive coordinator when in reality it was a Shedeur checking out of passing plays. He does this to elevate himself, his statistics and his persona as an elite QB. Shedeur is using all of us. But at the next level, there will be no place to hide. The scouts are already onto this. The GM’s will not be fooled. He is a 6th rounder at best.
Great coach just by listening to him and a retired NFL player a great at that. I played 8 years in football and I know a great coach when I see it and player.
Crazy but these people are still getting all the votes, somebody keep putting them in charge regardless of their character, and ironically, it's States like Colorado....feel me😳
See the pattern, here? Coach Prime changes the atmosphere of these Q&A's. The journo's are respectful and asking relevant questions. You actually learn something from these sessions. "Let's go." - Coach Prime
There's no expectations in a program that was below Northwestern statistically. I'm sure the media was asleep in these meetings since 2000. This program has been nonexistent.
@@Kube_Dog that's the best way to put it. I have a feeling once his sons are gone and he's at least turned CU around to an eight-game winning season, it'll be enough for an ACC, sec, or Big 12 school to start calling. He's there max 4 years.
@@briansnead4787that's totally reasonable. i personally think as long as shedeur stays (very likely next year), deion will remain, but then he'll quit like he quit the hbcu. small chance he stays a third year, small chance he goes to the nfl, especially dallas if they fall short this year and next, especially if they can get shedeur to dallas. but one thing i know, deion is short-term sizzle, not longterm. people think i'm being a hater, but i'm just keeping it real. and yes, he was the greatest corner ever and one of the top athletes in general of the past 40 years. it's also amazing to me how people don't see he's just the big media story for september and waning into october, how they think this is the second coming or something.
@@briansnead4787 😆😆 It's enough right NOW. If Prime didn't win another game this season and was fired, schools would be on him like stink on sh** are you kidding me? What cracks me up is folk who talk like this talk like Colorado is Hawaii. This football program has 660-700+ wins (depending on where you get your info). 19 conference titles in it's history. A natty and a Heisman. If Coach Prime leaves at some point, he leaves. What does that have to do with CU, Prime and these players right now? Nothing.. Btw, We're in the Big12 next, so he's not leaving for a conference school when he's at the best school already by that point..
I never watch college football but Coach prime time got me watching it I'm NFL girl but its something special about him and this school that got me watching hope he win some kind of title 🙏❤
Tell it coach. I was moved to quivering lower lip when I saw Travis and the young man who injured him bowling and hanging out. You are good folks over there at Colorado keep it up. OUTSTANDING!
What’s funny is the hbcu transfers having better stats in the fbs, and I like how Coach Prime keep bringing up the fact they thought they couldn’t keep up.
That’s what I’m talking about give your players praise and credit don’t get to skip past it no you don’t! We need more Deions. hard to fail when your supported?
The country got to see the resilience of Prime's team on Saturday 🔥 they'll be fine, a decent slate of games coming up before a tough end to the season, but we believe!
I don’t think I ever really heard a coach say he would LOVE for his BEST PLAYER to be out for as long as possible so he can heal up.. Now how many coaches do we know that if they were in his shoes, would be tryna get that player out there ASAP! Thats real LOVE right there! He cares more about Travis as a son/his future than he does about immediate team success! Thats real
I don’t even watch American football like that , I watch real football where we use our foot to kick a ball but coach prime has got me to watch the game
Listen up! "Selfish Humans," Mr.Sanders, is a great leader for these young people, he don't forget about the other students in the school. He makes everybody apart of the team, the whole city. Keep up the great work. You day is around the corner "Positive Energy too you and your team." PBUY!
I tried to not watch this. My gf say I can’t stop watching but he’s to engaging lol. Love how he laughed everyone off and answered that first question. Probably scripted a bit but what isn’t these days. He’s a business man at heart. Gota promote and have marketing. He’s the king. But also trully believe he has the players futures as a top priority. He wants these kids to trully succeed.
Coach prime is so well put together that it makes people mad that he gets so much love even after losing games… haters will be punching the air as long as prime is coaching CFB
14:05-14:50 we recruit talent, but we recruit character too...we look for those intangibles. Believe it or not, we are all being watched by our families and our communities to see if we're going to stay in the fight, accept the challenge, or give up. Very powerful!
Love to hear Prime in these press conferences. I’m a DUCK alum (67 grad) but have followed Prime from college & pro football and now a head coach in a power 5 program. He has always told what it is. Talks for the heart. Have a great deal of respect for him. 😊
just so fantastic to have a coach like Prime and the love and respect and demands he puts on the players. I am an older white guy and saw Colorado win/tie the national championship in 1980, and the hail mary from Kordell Stewart to Michael Westbrook to beat Michigan .... I am a Broncos fan and couldn't stand him (Prime) because he was so great and beat us!!! Now I think the world of him, and I hope so many kids get to be under his coaching and philosophy! What a fantastic and beautiful soul to re-invigorate the Colorado program, make the kids their best, and raise everyone of us .... I don't play and my kids have graduated college and he is changing and raising me up .... great job Dione!!!
I’m a huge fan. He’s molding great not good but great men. Not only in football but in life. Academics, hard work, finances, decision making skills, everything and it shows. When you have hard work and discipline you can’t lose. Nothing but good comes out of that.
If you had a chance to watch the documentary on Bobby Bowden… you’d understand. This guy is the embodiment of him. From his coaching style, love of family, and love for God. He’s tapped in.
In the words of Coach Bobby Bowden, “It ain’t about the X’s and O’s it’s about the Billy’s and Joe’s”. Coach Prime is the embodiment of that statement.
I never watch college football until coach prime 😊 I believe in him it's not just football but teaching these young guys to be respectable and responsibility❤❤
How iconic is it to be the best cb in history arguably the best athlete ever. To have a team you coach have the potential to be the best secondary in college football especially once given time.
You cant tell me that secondary wont be top notch when all three are playing together- Sanders, Hunter and McClain. The best trio in Pac12 and possibly in the country. Theyre just a few good lineman away from being a playoff threat
Wow! Coach Deion Sanders is different when it comes to college football. Ohio State Buckeye 4life🎉!🎉🎉 Let's go! Buckeye4life! It's football!😂 Play football!
Let’s go Primetime .. If you’ve never played football then you don’t know how difficult it is to turn around a program that’s been losing in recent years no matter the new talent. Unless it’s an oversized Olinemen in highschool that has NFL size against boys, after that level it takes all 11 players on the field ✅
not hard when youre coach prime in the portal era... plus the media gives them all the attention which will make players want to go there even more.. if anything if he doesnt win sooner than later than it is a failure
