Salt Lake City leaders to raise Juneteenth flag at City Hall with community members
Salt Lake City will join community leaders for an early celebration of Juneteenth National Independence Day at City Hall. The event will include an anthem performance, reading of General Order #3, and raising of the Juneteenth flag.
Juneteenth, a state and federally recognized holiday, is celebrated on June 19, with the holiday officially observed this year on Monday, June 17.
