Thank God, you got away safely!!!! it was crazy back in the 70s that was always happening to me and my girlfriends we’d be walking because that’s what kids did then and every single time some man would pull up and offer us a ride never a woman. When I was 33 I almost got kidnapped, but thanks to my ex who was with the FBI. He taught me things to look out for that most women don’t think about . Pay close attention to your surroundings! Most importantly, listen to your gut your instinct will never steer you wrong (maybe ❤?)!!!! Did you ever find out any information about him? You have to wonder about these people like who was their next victim? Who did they get????? Because they definitely don’t stop!

We had the most serial killers in all of US in CA in the 70’s than any other time since.

@@ammie1216 When the case broke last year, I googled her name. The website came up with her artwork. The images were pretty dark and suggested she knew something was off in her family. I had been corresponding with a podcaster who is a retired police sergeant. So I sent the link to him. I don’t recall her work being as graphic as the ones shown today, but the work suggested an awareness that something was amiss. I wonder if the site can be found using way back.

The issue is that people who do not engage and do not like images of abused children, and underage prostitution, find such images to be repugnant. They do not partake in its viewing. I am not attaching blame, but in light of the circumstances, she needs to be investigated. There is one serial killer, whose daughter would bring him women to be victimized. If it were about him killing and glorifying animals when she was a child, she would be viewing images of animals and not women.

They could be transfer hairs. If they don't vacuum much, it would be easy to have a lot of them all over the house. It's possible she had been with him just before he committed, the alleged, crimes and her hair got left on his clothes. I think it's possible she knew what was going on. If, she was being abused, it's possible she was involved because she waa afraid.

I don’t believe too much in transfer hairs. I have long red hair as well. It mainly falls as I’m bobbing around doing tasks, such as taping my eBay packages. It gets on the outer tape. I rarely find hair outside of these instances, except when I comb through it over the sink every morning.

My daughter has very long, curly, strawberry blond hair, and, it gets everywhere. After we do laundry, fold the clothes and put them away, we fund her hair in our underwear. We'd visit my mom.and stepdad,even just an hour, he'd call to thank her for leaving hair in his shoes. Last week, family came up to visit, they were picking her hair off them. We find hair balls when we vacuum. I don't know if it's because her hair is very fine or what, but, no matter what we do,we're finding them,in pockets, socks,etc. So,I think it's possible the wife's hair had gotten on Red and it got left on the victims. Also, if they don't vacuum much, all that hair is going to build up.

Most criminal cases are solves from transfer evidence from point A (a home) to point B (the crime scene). 1 transfer hair found at a crimescene does not mean an accomplice. It only tells us where it came from and who the criminal lives with. The walls of Rex Heuermann physical evidence and only 1 red hair from an accomplice? Not buying that unless she can teleport and fly now. There have been dog and human hairs that have tied a criminal to a crime scene. Look up "Transfer Evidence". What comes in, must go out. The reason that cleaning up a scene leaves more criminal evidence. The effort put in leaves flakes, sweat, footprints, blood (if the victim injured the killer) and hair.

She was probably always the weird kid in school that no one wanted to be friends with because her upbringing was so abnormal, so who was she going to confide in? I'm not making excuses for any involvement she may have had in all of this and I find it really hard to believe that her drawings had nothing to do with her father's crimes. When it came out last summer about Asa being there the last night Karen Vegara was ever seen and the whole story behind that, it immediately changed my opinion about her.

@ChalNjurshEp - I have been a tireless supporter of crime victims for 30 years. My role was in fact to emphasize that no conclusions can be drawn and to present statistical likelihoods. After the conference, I did an interview in which I expounded on feeling this woman was likely a victim of her father's horrors, if even by exposure. It is heartbreaking that anyone would twist what I feel, but I am appreciative of the passion that drives that, including yours.

Karen Vergatas body was found along with the other victims on Gilgo beach. The witness said she saw Karen running from Rex trying to escape from him and the swinger boyfriend said “don’t worry they are just playing” from this information Asa saw this woman and surely would have seen Karen listed as a woman found dead on Gilgo beach.

SMH I don’t even know how to process all that information JR just gave us.. I’m an old lady, been on this planet many years, spent a very long career working in social services and criminal justice, and I’ve seen very bad stuff the mind can’t forget. I do not consider myself naive in any way..that being said, I had NO idea this “stuff” was a thing!! Normal society has to tell itself these criminals are a “one off”, it’s much more difficult to believe there’s groups of this sickening behavior where like minded humans can gather… I don’t think this investigation is done, I don’t think LE has found all victims, I don’t think LE has found all the perpetrators.. What we know thus far is horrifying, what’s suspected is sickening…and the truth may be simply beyond words this grandma has in the vocabulary… prayers and thoughts to the victims, their families, and to LE that have to sift through this 💩 and connect the dots. 😢

@@Jil_Brian I agree 1,000%. I was thinking about my interest in silly, juvenile Halloween art, which I think may have been heightened because my family lived next to a cemetery when I was small. My siblings and I used to sneak out of the house at night and peek through the iron fence to see if there were ghosts or zombies walking around in the dark. Of course, there weren't, but we scared ourselves half to death wnen the wind blew the leaves around and ran back into the house. This makes me think that perhaps Victoria snooped through things in the basement when he was working, or found a knot or nailhole in the floor to peek through to see what was going on down there. I think most kids snoop. If she did that when very young, she might have seen something bizarre that she thought was part of normal adult behavior, but probably wouldn't tell anyone what she witnessed because she was snooping. If he told them not to go down there, you can almost guarantee some of them spied on him.

Can I ask what's there not to like about him? Haven't seen him do anything wrong but try to go against the grain and help these victims.

@@gailainsley6939 To be clear I dont dislike him but not a fan, he has been a great advocate over the years and yes going against the grain can be a good thing. I think Mr Rays last presser was over the top and was heavy on opinion and light on actual evidence. While I do think the wife knows more than she is letting on and maybe the daughter as well, I dont think having a interest in deviant art is evidence they took part in Rexs acts.
