Just fixed my karchar 1800 psi , but it wasn't the GFCI plug, it was the pressure limit swich. $11.11 from China.

From a UK point of view very strange not having a Ground or Earth as we'd call it here, the Earth would be part of the safety system here.

Same! When I looked at it and saw the screws, I figured it must be repairable and sure enough, I went online and found replacements.
