Delwin, I subscribed! This absolutely works!!! I wasted hours going to a dozen other sites with people guessing what could be the problem that others were presenting. But your RU-vid video both demonstrated the symptoms exactly and the solution that clearly worked for you. I was still doubtful because I had three nozzles (25 deg, 40 deg and turbo) that all sprayed but all exhibited the same surging result. Surely they couldn't all spray yet be clogged enough to exhibit this problem in the exact same manner! Well I was wrong. One by one I cleaned them. One took two cleanings, one took three and one took four cleanings. But they all worked in the end, spaying perfectly with no pump surging at all. The back pressure created by a slightly clogged nozzle is enough to throw off the pressure sensor that controls the pump, making it think that I was releasing the handle (shutting it down) only to think the next second (because water was still flowing and the pressure then dropping) that it need to turn the pump back on...... over and over, surging endlessly. You are the man! Thank you!
Thankyou it was a fustration of mines and i use it for business time is money and i myself felt the fustration from searching for fixes so i wanted to make this as straightforward and quick as possibe for all to continue to their daily lives. Cant wait to finish up my masters in nursing so i can get back to this car and mechanical stuff for you guys thanks a million bud you guys keep my heart pumping
Thank you Delwin. Had the exact same problem. Tried DW40 with no luck, then i stuck a thin wire into the hole and BOOM BABY, it worked. Thank you so much for the practical HACK. Much appreciated!
I am having the same issue with my pressure washer but my PW pulses much faster. I have cleaned the pressure tip also but in vain. Please suggest me any other solution. Thankyou.
My pressure washer is gas engine driven, but the water action from the wand is the exact same as what you first show. I checked hoses, water supply and such, but I didn't check to see if the pressure nozzle had a blockage. I didn't know it could make such a dramatic difference. I know now. Thanks
Thank you! Omgezzus, mine has been doing this. Drives me nuts while washing my cars. Have a great day. Thank you again for taking time to share your knowledge.
WOW! I was fixing to go out and buy myself a new power washer even though my motor was running fine and even coming through the hose. Never imagined it would be a small piece of dirt or whatever obstructing the whole thing. Thank you so much! I owe you lunch. :-) God bless
Hey! Thank You! Your advice fixed my pressure washer issue. It was surging too with the way water was coming out, so I took a wire and worked it through the hole several times at the end piece where the water streams out, and Voila!!!. Thanks again!!!and God Bless!!!
Thank you! This issue was driving me batty! I swore it was the power source from the back of the house, so I ran a cord from the front and it still did it. You saved my sanity, thank you!!!
I'll give this a try tomorrow, I just got a free gas powered one that a guy was throwing away because it was surging. If I can get it working right I'll have acquired a $400 3000psi pressure washer for FREE
