Crandall you are a Jack of all trades. You can fix, repair, build, make up about anything. Just double check everything dude before you go out in the water. I love your enthusiasm and Maverick thinks you hung the moon. Keep up the good work and being an amazing Dad and husband. I enjoy you and Marcie and your family. Blessings always 🙏❤️
When our kids were young, we bought a boat. We scrubbed it and made it shine. We worked on the motor until it hummed. We finally put it in the lake and went to sleep in the camper. The next morning we excitedly ran to the shore to NOT see the boat. It had sunk to the bottom of the lake! 😂
How did I know this video was going to be different!!! Oh well you tried hope you put sun screen on maverick he had fun that's great glad you took the ores good thinking
That would be smart. But we are talking about Crandall here. Not his best life hack. It had me worried to the core. I thought the heat lamp in a plastic container with all those other flammable items/fuels/paints around may have woken him to think safety before doing any task. I might have to fly there and teach him about farm safety by risk assessing every task.
So very glad I met you at the Okie Expo yesterday so now when you become famous with all your invention and multi patents I can Bragg "I PERSONALLY MET THAT GUY" 😂😂❤
Also, life vests for everyone on a boat especially if children are in your care. What would have been the consequences if something happened to Dad and son was left in boat by himself. Being over cautious is a good thing.
Oh Crandall! You did a really good job making the motor and other stuff and then one little screw makes you have to paddle back. So sorry for you.😞😞 I love the way you never give up though.❤❤❤
I love how excited Maverick gets wen you say your gonna fix the boat and go fishing…you did a brilliant job it just needs tweaking Crandall your extremely clever….the look on Mavericks face makes it all worthwhile
When our kids was small. We alway made sure we always had extra gad with us.. We made sure we had tools with us too. It's always a learning experience.. Good luck on fishing..
Oh Crandall, you make me smile. You remind me so much of my Dad. He had been a Master Aerospace Machinist since WWII. If he needed a part or thought of an invention, he'd just go into his garage and CREATE it! Many times, altho not pretty it ALWAYS WORKED!!😅 ❤
LOL u arent stranded!! U have an oar & not that far from the shoreline. Can't tell U how many times our old speed boat stopped working in the middle of a huge lake. We always had oars tho. Try using oars making a 14' speed boat go to shore. That ain't easy.😉 We finally got to a point where we could buy a brand new boat. Boy were we glad we did. Agree with Marci too .. most troll motor shafts arent near that long are they? Seems u could take 2 feet off of that. Btw: Mav is the perfect age to learn how to swim. my nephew was afraid to get into the deep lake water at Mav's age. But I just kept getting in the water with him & I'd swim around the boat with him stopping about half way so he could just take everything in. Once he wasn't afraid of the water anymore, I taufht him how to swim. There's certain first steps like floating they need to learn first b4 swimming tho so they feel more comfortable with the water & using it as a tool rather thsn fighting it. Anyway I've enjoyed this vid .. close to memories we made a lot of. Y'all be safe ..❣️😊☮️
Crandall beware of snakes getting in your boat my dad had his john boat turned upside down and when he took it out in the lake a large snake crawled out from under a seat and he told my husband who was with him "sit still son I will get it out", he flipped the snake out of the boat into the lake with an oar. My husband was deathly scared of snakes. Crandall your inventions are ALMOST genious❗
Looks like Maverick was having a good time until the motor stopped 😢other than that it was working fine for a while . Maybe next time go parallel with the shore for the next test drive until your sure everything is ok.😊Luckily you had the canoe paddle that’s why sometimes it helps to have oars aboard for the small aluminium boats that’s what we used to do here in Australia 🤷♀️😃
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures and if everyone had a life jacket and you can get ashore with a rope and I always have a go bag full of survival supplies ( but that is me).
Hi Crandall , Marci and boys I am saying extra prayers for you to get y'all's boat fixed and running . I know Crandall , will work hard to get it in good safe running condition so the family can enjoy good times ahead on the water with the boat . Sending lots and lots of love and prayers ❤️ 🙏🏻
That was a very cute video that was to bad you got stranded in the lake I hope you can get it to work for you so you can use the boat thank you for the video and your guys time I hope you and your family has a great day and the rest of your week thanks again ❤
Maybe goose can drag Maverick to shore. Not a good idea taking a child that young out on the water when in video your literally saying " if this doesn't work"
Oh my, when you first put the prop on I didn't think you tightened it as I didn't see you use a tool to make sure it was secure. I was thinking, well he will when he is ready but if not , just the vibration will surely loosen it. 😞
Jami & Lester went out in their boat & got stopped by the police. He never said what he did wrong which stinks to put as a title of the video & then not say what happened. We are trying to figure out what happened such as no life jackets for everyone in the boat or maybe he didn’t register the boat. Now you have something to tease Lester about. It’s amazing how your mind works to figure out how to construct transom & make a motor from a pressure washer.😂 I wish your videos were longer.
They didn't stick the registration stickers onto the boat - Jami have them too Lester and he laid them on the kitchen counter - they had no proof they owned it registered the boat.
Crandall, if I ever see or hear that you have taken all three boys out in that boat, I will fly that fast over there & kick your butt. 4 people no matter the size of the children, you need at least a 4.3 metre boat. One meter to each person & a reliable motor. One thing you always take is a tool box with spare spark plug. BOAT stands for= bring out another thousand. Meaning they cost a lot of $, mainly because of “Water safety “ AND IT MUST BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. There’s a BIG difference between a buoyancy vest to a life vest. You need one that will keep your head out of the water if unconscious. An emergency EPIRB no matter what type of water source you are going out in. Flares for night and day. Correct clothing & only idiots wear waders in boats/kayaks/canoe’s where water is over your head, unless on a fishing trawler. When TESTING a boat, no matter what size, never take a child or GOD might. Men do stupid stuff & this one of them. I love you like a Brother. Oh and never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever rely on a patch in water.
Taking a toddler on the maiden voyage of an experimental motor design in a boat with 2 holes patched questionabley is the most irresponsible parental behavior i have ever seen.
Sounds like a helicopter parent you have a life jacket on him and puddles in case it brakes down. People need to mind their own business. I think somewhere in the Bible it says something about taking care of the plank in your eye before trying to get the stick out of another person's eye. In other words clean up your own back door before you start on someone else's. They are fine.
I would be unhappy if I were Marci. Messing with a boat when your walls aren’t painted and the front of your house looks like a hoarder mess. Take pride in your place and work on it.
Sorry not usually so critical but when involving young children I have issues. I mean think if something bad happened, you could be going to court for child endangerment. Just saying in this day and age.
Tell me exactly how any child was endangered? As for your “not usually so critical” I beg to differ…… Let me see, who wrote “wait, did u really leave those babies in a truck and walk away“? and “I hope her exuberance won’t follow to the new channel” ? Shall I continue? Don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!
@@joanneriley3899 and who are you? Yes I said both of those things, and ya know what when they are on court tv believe me I will have lots more to say, try me cause I was split when the door hit.
