Great video lots of good information especially for people that want to start out and maybe their own little business but I'm pretty sure even I can tell one of his jets are clogged up That's why when he's cleaning it and you can see it vibrating violently also when he tips it to the side and runs it there's only one jet spraying unless I model only has one but that just makes it extremely unsmooth
@thecollegehustle phenomenal video. You inspired my 12 year old son and he wants to set up his own pressure washing business. Can you post a link for the Contractor Hose, the Shut off attachment and type of pressure washer that you used. Thank you for paying it forward. #muchrespect
I just started a channel doing similar videos. Side hustles. Pressure washing, soft washing, paver sealing, landscape design pavers etc Thanks for the video man. Lots of info!
lol i bonked my head washing my house last week on the top of the head left a nice welt doesn't feel to good either. I am about to start a pressure washing business myself been a painter for 30 years have arthritis in my knee I am making the switch because it's less labor intensive painting is much more physical work I know because typically houses need to be washed before painting. Anyway great vid
"It has this turtle and rabbit feature. Really gives my customers peace of mind". That confused look on their face isn't peace of mind, it's them wondering if you've ever heard of a throttle before. Just busting your chops, keep making that money.
I have a 2.5gpm i cant really use that surface cleaner so i have to stick with the 15" and 16"inch ones tho a 4gpm washer is my next purchase. In this line of work time is money if you can cut a job by 30min to 1hr thats great. I really need to get those water cut offs attachments i get so annoyed having to walk back and forth to turn it off
I have a question.. how do you get rid of puddles? Like if there is a dip in the driveway or just a lot of water? Do you blow dry it or use a broom or just let the sun do it?
I do a mix of letting the sun dry it and using a broom if need be. I usually do the part of the driveway I think will puddle first so I don’t have to fight the water. Then at the end of the job I clear it out
I believe in on one your videos you live in portland oregon, I live not to far from there.... I was wondering if you pressure wash all year round like in wet or cold weather. Thank you.
Bro, thanx for the vidz your very informal on your videos. Im a green horn starting out. From Alabama to Detroit . Is it me or starting out where you nervous about a return on your investment?
Hey Robbie! I actually made another video that answers questions like these. It's the first video this channel posted. Go check it out and let me know if you have any more questions!
Hi im 17 and wanting to start a little buisness pressure washing. I have 400$ for a 3200 pressure washer at home depot (for a starter pressure washer) do you think its to late to start this year? or should i save it for a good sale on a better pressure washer?
Good question… I would recommend buying the machine lightly used. You will get more psi and quality for your $400 and it shouldn’t effect it’s life span hardly at all. As for whether it’s too late to start, it really depends on how much business you want and where you live. If you live in a rainy area and you only want to work on weekends then it certainly isn’t too late!
Good question. The water running through the machine is what cools the engine so it isn’t good to let it run without pulling the trigger for too long. The machine I’m using has a “turtle” setting though which lets the engine run really softly when you aren’t using it. I recommend doing that it turning the machine off if you aren’t going to pull the trigger for 1-2 minutes plus!
@@thecollegehustle2402 If you know what you're doing the chemical isn't going to affect anything. The mold and mildew wasn't killed it's just gonna grow back in a couple of months making the driveway dirty again
