PRESSURE WASHING THE MUCKY MASSEY 

Once you wash the massey give it a good greasing while it is clean easy to see the grease points and it push the left over water out .

You seem proud of your mucky tractors and muck spreader Richard , l know you are always busy but its a true saying a stitch in time , perhaps cleaning regularly will show up any defects which can be remodied before costly repairs are needed .... example oil leaks , water leaks seeing grease nipples , your business Richard of course , but has you know cow muck if left can soon leave to rust !

Whether you enjoy it or not, it will pay off in the long run to keep machinery clean and take a bit of pride in it. If you washed it more often it would be a lot easier done. You should do under mudguards and wheel arches or they will rot from the inside out

I think giving the tractors a clean could save you thousands in the long run as they will last longer, and you can see the faults with them before it gets to be a serious problem, so my suggestion is got to love cleaning your equipment as it will save you lots and lots of money LOL.

I personally love to clean vehicles. Strangely enough it's one of my hobbies I enjoy doing. To have something that looks so dirty and transform it to something that's just driven out of a showroom or forecourt is very rewarding for me. Especially when I see the owners face of my hard work and effort gone into making their car or motorbike looking clean. I've never cleaned a tractor though.....yet

I actually like power washing my tractor as she looks great after a little loving!! And it is funny my headlight looks dodgy just like yours!! Water damage and rot!! PHEW!!

Not sure how much difference your pressure washer could make for the muck spreader - might not be powerful enough... but luckily you DO know someone who has one that's a bit bigger and who might be nice enough to let you borrow it for a day or two... I've watched Farmer P use his once or twice and I'm sure you'd be able to come to an agreement for the "rental fee" 😉 Plus, look at it this way - with a bigger, more powerful machine the job would probably be easier, go faster, and be much less boring for you! Auto smart TFR 25 dilated with water would make 205 litre when mixed sum stuff for cleaning grease and oil off tractors and engines use pump up can and spray it on and leave for couple of minutes and the dirt and grease just falls off

Hi Richard you should try using snow form on your tractors that will take the dirt off and it good stuff to use all the beat

💕Think you need to knock a lot of that muck off the spreader with a shovel to get rid of the solid build up before starting on it with the pressure washer💕

Can’t understand why farmers pay big money for machines and they can’t take time to wash them and keep them right

How come you don't use the Massey for anything but mucke spreading

U need to get some tfr and a spray bottle,, spray the tfr all over the tractor let it dwell and power wash off,, also a snow foam attacemt for your power washer and some snow foam would also be good

You could always ask to borrow Farmer P's big boy pressure washer that muck spreader would be gleaming after using it 😉

Richard , much easier to clean tractor’s & equipment, if you buy a drum of T.F.M, (traffic film remover) & get yourself a long handled soft wash brush, all available from any good motor factors, you will use less water,& takes less time…

Super video, have you had many issues with the massey.

Check the oil and fluids and get the grease gun out, it only takes a minute or two.

you will walk past it tomorrow and wonder who’s left their tractor in the yard now its clean 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 Friday eve or first thing sat morning was our clean the tractors day, even the ones not used much during winter, still had to do them all. never got mega dirty as we were arable and pigs/ chickens.

Cow muck is terrible at rotting metal, I wonder if any farmer has had it rust into their engine?

Invest in a real power washer 2000psi with that still lance you'd enjoy the five min job on the spreader but you wouldn't dream of using it on ur tractor pto drive would suit you scraper tractor would easily drive it

Is Jack still too young to give him the responsibility of being in charge of washing the vehicles? He would be helping you and the farm and learning to be relied upon. Remember how he looked after the calves when you weren’t well, he used his initiative on that project didn’t he? Just a thought.
