SMART MOVE! I usually hook my jumper from my pressure pump up to my pressure hose bypassing my reel when I can but never though about something for my chemical reel. Thanks for sharing!
I own a Pressure Washing business in Florida most of the Pressure Washing companies I know have a second pump on the truck for soft wash. The banjos and fittings don’t go bad that often and you do not need them on the truck. If you do regular maintenance on your downtime most people that are Pressure Washing will have O-rings for their quick connects so they can replace them on the job. Most Pressure Washing trucks usually only have one pressure washer especially if it’s an 8 gallon a minute my 3500 psi cold water with a clutch cost $6800 2 years ago.
Where did you get your business signs and what are they made of? I purchased a PVC sign from Sir Speedy but it blew off at 60mph. Broke at the grommetsz
5/8 from water tank to proportioner 5/8 from Chem tank to proportioner 1/4 from surfactant tank to proportioner. 5/8 from proportioner to the pump. 5/8 from the pump to the reel 5/8 on the reel.
I can get through around 400 sqft maybe 600 if use my blower to blow it off instead of rinsing it off prior to cleaning. I try to keep water coming in as I use it so I don’t have to worry about running low.
@@prestigepropertywashing been using vtwinn Honda 5.5 for awhile wanna go with an 8 but don’t want to have water issues same tank you have on single axle no water issues with 5.5 just wanna clean a little quicker.
@@stevesteve4383 you should be all good man. Most properties supply me with enough water. Haven’t ran into an issue yet. Do you have a Hudson float valve or anything similar to auto stop flow into your tank?
@@davidkeeling5434 The PSI is perfect for everything I need it for. With a shooter tip I can get decent height also, 3-4 stories depending on wind. I definitely don't have any regrets with the 8. Rinsing is a breeze.
Very cool set up. I am in Jacksonville Florida. I have the same set up out of the back of a Ford F250 except I only have a 70 gallon water tank. South east soft wash has a really good dynamite degreaser it is very expensive almost $87 a gallon after shipping. I do commercial work weekly with this product and it works great. Most of the time you can spray the degreaser out of a pump a bottle while somebody is coming behind you with the surface cleaner. Good luck man
Hey @kalibmilner877! Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve actually been wanting to try HotterNHell degreaser sometime so thank you for recommending dynamite. May get that instead.
