My name is Joe. I own a pressure washing business based in Jacksonville, Florida. I started my business in March of 2023. I started my RU-vid channel at the same time to document the process, and help others start a pressure washing business of their own. Only have a 12v setup built on a small wooden skid right now. Currently in the process of building a 6.3 gpm washer with a Predator engine from Harbor Freight. Also have acquired (scrap from my employer) a metal skid to modify and build shelves on for a truck skid.

Currently running a truck bed setup. 4gpm belt driven pressure washer, 7gpm 12v soft wash setup, buffer tank, chem tank, 100' supply line, 200' pressure hose, 250' chem hose for 12v all on reels, bed rail tool box for battery and spare parts and harbor freight ladder rack with my ladders and surface cleaner. Been enjoying this setup a little more than my trailer I used last year

As long as you do a great job, that’s what matters. You will get better equipment and vehicles over time. You can have the nicest vehicles and equipment, but if you don’t do a great job, then it won’t matter.

To be fair, I don't know if I would say the build is "for beginners"...as it's still going to get 95 percent of any jobs done! Might take a little longer to do jobs, but not much.....good build. I am also in Florida, on the Treasure Coast. Subscribed

You keep growing a little at a time and that has to feel good. I would make 1 suggestion and that is to mount your reel on the passenger side of the trailer. The reason is 1. Easier to just grab the hose and pull it straight out with no onstruction. 2. Some municipalities don’t allow parking facing oncoming traffic. 3. An oncoming car would be more likely (IMO) to hit you head on. Another thing is cones. Where I live you have to have 3 cones to the rear of the trailer. Keep Washing and have a great day.

Dude..... your growing!!!!! Your whip line to the reel has a lot of stress on it so put a high pressure 90 on the pump end to give it a little slack. Also when you have time take the water tank and turn it side ways an push it back a little. The place your Chem tank in the center just in front of it. That heavy chem.tank loads a lot of weight on the side, and it being forward like that leads up the lounge weight of the trailer.. Your looking good brother!

Appreciate that 💪💪💪 I did get a longer whip line but I never considered a high pressure 90. I thought that may restrict flow. That was just an assumption. Appreciate the advice. I felt like I was just desperate to get the trailer set up, I didn’t really think too long about the layout. I will definitely be changing it. Thank you again! 💪

Another thing is to put the pw in the back. That way if you have a job where you don't have enough hose, you can roll it out the back andove it closer....

Nice set up. Only thing i would change is your supply line from the buffer tank to your pressure washer, use 1" non collapsible hose (braided) Keep up the great work!

I park in front of the house so my reels are on the other side that way you go right to house I can’t wrap my head around your reels being on that side but if it works it works

It works both ways right? I haven’t had an issue, the reels are always facing the house.

i love this build because you have all the things you need and I want to replicate the exact same build but im confused on 1 thing. On all the other soft wash systems I see, they use a remco pump or some type of 5.5-7gpm but I didn't see a pump on your trailer it appears to be going through the pressure washer with the downstream. but if that was the case what are the batteries for? I obviously am new to this lol i have just been using my machine and xjet and looking to upgrade. Thanks for the video

I have a pump. It’s mounted underneath my hose reels. Thanks for watching buddy! The soft wash pump is worth it. I use the 5.5gpm Everflo bleach pump

Haven’t experienced that yet honestly, but I would take the machine off the trailer if I had to. When I go bid the job, I figure that out. Good question though. I carry 200ft of pressure hose. I would add another 100ft if I had to as well.

Yes, no problem! Just don’t carry around a full buffer tank. Dump it before you drive.

1,700lb capacity. I’m well under that for sure! I never carry a full buffer tank which is why I installed a dump valve. Thanks for watching 💪

How are you washing roofs? The max pull rate of a downstream injector is 10 to 1 so if you are using 12.5% sh you would be pulling a 1.25% at the gun which wouldn’t be strong enough for most roofs.

10-4. Didn’t see it on your trailer. Is there a particular 12 volt pump that you would recommend? Also, can I ask what type of insurance policy you have? I got a policy from progressive but it limits me to soffit and below. My plan is to downstream most houses and use XJet if I need to pull stronger solution. Thanks for the response!

I use a push around, no trilers, hook up to homeowners house , and wash, put it in back of my truck and go. You dont need all that.

Its you who diesnt know what uou are talkingvabout and no you dont need a trailer to do any of it. I know what im talking about and have been doing it for well over 15 years that way. I dont have to pay taxes on a trailer nor do i have to try and find parking in the big city . So how about you shut your shit hole bud

@@joeallenpressurewashing you can but if you’re cleaning on a busy street, you will have cars keep driving over your hose because its set up on that side. If you have it on the curbside you wont have that problem if you’re pulling up to the customer house & their house is on your right side when you’re looking out your passenger window. It’s not right or wrong way but it’s an efficient way.
