Hot Damn! This fix worked nicely. I had 4 different brass presta to Schraeder adapters and they did not work. This worked perfectly. Thanks Amateur Reviews
im already about to order an adapter from china good thing i found this video.....i dont want to cut the cup...i happen to have an air tube that i hated a bit to fit the valve and the pump side......thank you very much for the idea
Holy thank you so much man, i spent at least an hour going through videos figuring out how to do it, because all my stuff is different to you americans (i'm australian) and this is the only one that helped, got my tires nice and pumped in about 5 seconds
Thank You.. Very much.... I just got some new wheels and don't have the adapter yet, it's Sunday, Memorial day weekend, so I have to wait to get the correct adapter. I like that you thought of a simple temp solution... Cheers.....
Usually, if the pump says it does both - it can! Check inside as on my pump there was a rubber thing you pull out and reverse to make it smaller to fit Presta (check inside the nozzle that fits over the valve, if that makes any sense lol)
Often times you just need to unscrew the cap on your bike pump and turn the rubber gasket around 180 degrees to switch between the two. I’m not sure if that’s the case with your pump or not. Good idea though!
It did work for me but it leaks most of the pumped air through the plastic cap also its hard to lock the pump socket over the plastic cap , any way it would be helpful when there is no adapter in hand
