problem not fixed. the indicator pin do not come up easily. can we close it permanently? new cooker purchased online this week. another bad feature is lid handle becomes very hot.

we are doing it each time when we have to use this cooker. What is the use of the lid if it cant come up automatically after building the steam!!!!! They haven't tested it properly before release.

I already knew this trick. But thanks for sharing anyways If cooker doesn't open after rotating the knob, you may press it again to open it. Bad Quality Cooker mine started giving me trouble in less than a year.

Do you have video for changing safety valve for clipon pressure cooker

Bought a 5 litres clip on pressure cooker which is cumbersome to develop pressure. Mostly one has to fiddle with the pin which was shown by you. Why should we have to do this also ! In other pressure cookers one doesn’t have to do any such actions. Totally a poor product. Post sale service is also Ridiculous, frankly NO service even in warranty period. The service engineers etc are also callous in their approach towards their customers. How ever, Mani has brought out the important tip for the users. I personally had tried it a month ago and was successful but this is actually a cumbersome process.

I bought this few months ago and was working well- though it took more than 15 minutes for the pressure to subside.. Of late pressure was not building up and peculiar noises were heard..took to Prestige shop. Received back after a week with a new gasket(130/- charged). I tried and steam came but the safety valve fell into cooker. Today I have given back for rectification.. Sort of impulsive purchase and my wife is really made at me...

Worst design of this pressure cooker! Why should we have to lift the pin to develop the pressure which should be done automatically after the cooker has been set and put on the gas. Unfortunately I have got a 5 litre p/cooker and curse myself for buying it last year in December 21. NO ONE SHOULD BUY IT. I AM SUFFERING AND HAVE USED IT NOT MORE THAN 20 TIMES IN LAST ONE YEAR. AFTER SALES SUPPORT IS NO WHERE TO BE SEEN.
