I’m a bit late for the show with this video but after looking at this review I’ve opted for an X20, I just don’t have any confidence in my MTX3 for handling carp on commercials, fantastic as a match pole but the Superium looks like it can handle the job. Thank you Ben for all your hard work, appreciate it. 👍🏼

My choice I went for cause I'd never fish more than 13m I've since added two F1 grey short kits to it for some shallow fishing which are really nice, I like it it feels strong and light enough at 13m I compared it to the map 301 & mtx2 and not only was superium cheaper the tackle shop took another 50 quid off and gave me all elastics and Dacrons for free so I was really happy

Hi Ben. Great video as always keep up the great work. Question im torn between the mtx 2 map 301 and superium x20 which out of the 3 would you say is best and for spares etc? I have had map 401 before i wasnt impressed with pro type poles so bit hesitant on preston plus matrix poles look delicate. I was even thinkin of the matrix mtx power 11m as don't fish far out. for me x20. Pro types were awful i had the 360 a while back. matrix is probably the lightest but not as strong as the x20. I here there will be some more MAP poles soon

Matrix is lighter but x20 in my opinion is the stronger all rounder for commercials

Looking at one of these as an option. Build quality looks good. I must say you seemed very impressed with the X10 and X30, but less so with this X20? Or is that a wrong impression?

I had x10 mate has x30 had fish upto 18lb on it no problems

⁠thanks for the info. I just bought an x20 secondhand. Used it yesterday for the first time , in heavy blustery wind, on light gear at 13m & 14.5 , targeting ide and I must say I am extremely impressed with the rigidity and response.

My dad has just bought this pole and doesn't know how to assemble the cupping kit, do you have any advice I could pass on?

xi20 is lighter & stiffer for this its weather you like once sat on it. Defiantly not cheap for spares Middy.

It’s got no elastic in it so you can’t tell properly .

Great video once again,but to b honest I won't waste 750 on that,I've got cp2000 twice as much money I no but it's up there with top end preston map and alot more

Yeah mate seen it another great film,let me tell u Yr mate got a far better deal than I did but it is a great pole,almost got rid of it when I seen Yr middy but I'll keep it couple more years
