That's exactly what these types of scam ads on's and marketplace content should be called. It's almost worse then micro transactions. . Especially when a content creator has their name on it. @@-si3jd
I just came back to MC recently, as an Xbox player all this marketplace stuff is new to me and I'm kinda disgusted at how Mojang allows these mods on the store for such prices when the majority of them either dont work or harm your worlds in some way. What are they doing to this game!?
Unfortunately, I don’t think it is Mojang. I’m pretty sure it’s Microsoft that runs the quality assurance tests and whatnot 😅 so don’t get too mad at Mojang when most, if not all, marketplace stuff is out of their control
Well I'm concerned that he probably isn't entirely aware of this. There are a lot of Marketplace creations that reference the creator but have no affiliation. Maybe due to his full username being there would lend to him at least giving this a greenlight, it was probably done because someone offered to give him royalties. I'm pretty sure he plays on Java, so he really doesn't even need to bother with it's existence, and that's what's really a bummer.
i actually like their block designs and weapon modeling, you said that axe looked like a textured netherite axe, but that looked like a full ass 3d model to me, otherwise, i agree this add-on is too much money for what this is, which is not very thought out in terms of add-on not showing recipes, and the mobs and how easy/hard they are to defeat, and also their animations are lacking... it's disappointing because i think part of it looks cool
This Preston Plays add-on is a rip off. Also I'm assuming these mobs don't spawn in your world so what's the point? The Horror Survival by Mythicus is more expensive, but not by much and you get more.
It's unfortunate that the Horror Survival Add On isn't particularly good horror either. It's genuinely feeling like creators are just trying to make cash grabs more than they want to make something fun and fitting of their title.
@@outregis that's just bs horror survival is still the best addon in the marketplace they updated the addon weekly for 2 months straight and are working on bosses
I am not sure if he made this or his team had for him. But I went to go look up his RU-vid channel to see if he made a video about this add-on and I did not see anything. So maybe he either didn’t post it yet or did post it and then deleted it. But it looks to me that maybe he wasn’t the one that made this or his team. I even checked his socials to see if light could be shed on this but still nothing. So I guess only time will tell. Thank you so much for the honest review Ecko! It's the unfortunate thing about the Marketplace. RU-vidrs and Streamers are used for their notoriety just so they can get sales, I'm not entirely sure any of them ever really know about the content being made, or if they can do all that much since at the end of it all Minecraft content is all technically owned by Mojang.
Hey Ecko, I been messing around on this add-on and it appears (for me at least) the mobs do spawn at night or at dark places like caves. And to get the Summing Altar it is a random drop from a mob called Server Entity.
@@Metahunt638 You can't get a refund for anything on the Marketplace. Mojang doesn't have the confidence to actually curate the quality on the Marketplace, and they know that a lot of things sold are mediocre.
@@outregis my nephew once bought $100 in mine coins and his mom and dad were able to get the money back, I guess that’s the only thing you can get a refund in

As a addin creator ( not marketplace partner) you could provably put most of the mobs in the game in like 2min, if including texture design then around 40, but they stole the textures from another youtuber so the whole addon probably took less than a day to put together

This right here is why I Follow you I was Interested in This one when it First Got added I have been slowly Trying to Transform MC Into A horror Game with mods such as Mutants & Horror Survival based on The description & rated Figured it sounded like exactly what was looking For but something Just Felt wrong and I had The Filling to wait until The review came out & Thank The GODS did would have been beyond angry if had actually wasted $5 on This Thank You so much brother & please never stop doing These you are needed
Definitely needs adjustments and updates or at least someone else releasing a better version "if" this company is just going to abandon it. I like it and I love the whole idea behind it but it's just clearly not well executed and pretty much everything you said about it. Still holding out hope for a few updates and adjustments which hopefully is the plan, I'd hate for a cut and run.

If only there was a way that we could get a free trail for the add on before purchasing it. this is proof that you can't trust add-ons based on ratings. Its a good thing I stay away from add-ons especially if its named after a person I know nothing about. Thanks for the review ecko always appreciate it.
Realistically we should get a free trial. some kind of key to create a new world that you can test for 15 minutes, and then it deletes after that amount of time, I don't see it as even being all that hard to code into the game, and honestly it would bring a lot more good faith to the Marketplace.
This is possibly the WORST add on I’ve ever seen, the creators should be ashamed of themselves. Just like prestonplays videos this is for kids who don’t know anything.
Do they spawn naturally, I've seen entity 303 & Don't sleep naturally what about the others. Also they need to redo this addon, it has so much wasted potential, make the mobs into actual hard to kill bosses with abilities, & add herobrine lol Also why the raid sound every three seconds.

at least a few of these mobs are just rip offs of existing creepypastas, one is literally Entity 303 turned into a complete joke of a mob. A creepypasta addon could be cool, but this addon seems to have had little to no effort put into it, likely using the creepypastas for a quick buck. How will Mojang allow this but not bring back the Herobrine skins xD
The fact that you need to be approved and a developed mod author to even be considered having your mod released on market place is a scam these mods shoud be way better than the trash being pumped out
This is rough. The first Horror Add On, I saw that it wasn't terrible, but it was just more monsters and they look creepier. It really wasn't the "horror" you'd want from something like that. This one is an absolute joke, it was made clearly as a cash grab. Ultimately, I'm worried for the future of Add Ons, as we get a bunch for dragons and a bunch for secret bases, it's clear that the creators are actually getting lazy. Thank you for reviewing this, I had a slight benefit of doubt going, but I knew I had to see it first.
Bro, I actually spent money on this trying to make my Minecraft world the most scary one on bedrock edition and I didn’t even know it worked find out it was trash
Weird how paid add-ons (which are basically mods for bedrock) are lower quality compared to mods for Java (which are free) add-ons are a genuine disgrace to Minecraft EXCEPT THE ACTUAL GOOD ONES.

What erks me the most is the entirety of the marketplace has no review system. Ratings are not enough. Its just horrible that kids will have to spend their money and just guess if something is decent. Its a little shadey that there isnt a review system at all to begin with. KIDS are buying these!
This mod seems like one big rip off of all the java mods (that are free), then just severely nerfed and a couple of custom blocks. I just can't pay for bedrock add on's when it's all free on java
When I thought you said it was a bad horror ad on I thought it would be one of those ones with a creature chasing you. Like another cave dweller ad on.
If you take the opportunity to throw garbage now that the Addon is a SCAM we know that mods are more complex and better but for you to get the comment in each situation you don't need more when the Addon is crap
If I don't make a mistake about the addon that is broken, I'm not complaining I like the OP weapons, more if I add bosses and other addon of difficulty, but there are players who look for it to be balanced and if I don't get confused about the addon that is not balanced but unbalanced
