@@alexoliver4222 Hi Alex...this isn't a dating site, right????. I am from upstate NY. and am just checking out pet videos. I've never had anyone flirt with me on this forum.

@@illyrusemperor9278 pretty sure she meant daddy, since he is in fact a male, & the dogs dad now. Us animal lovers consider our pets our kids. I'm sure his wife doesn't say "your owners home" when he pulls up in the drive way, she most likely would say "your dad's home" to the pup...u must not own dogs.
To me, dogs are by far the most fantastic creatures on this earth ! They're made 100% out of pure love and kindness. People should cherish them the best they can because they really deserve it !
it’s actually really helpful when training dogs to make a pain sound when they bite, or bite a little too hard. that’s how puppies learn their own strength, and they will actually avoid doing things that cause pain during play.
Actually works to train puppies not to bite. Using it now on my little terrier pup. I squeal like a hurt puppy when bites, then he stops with that SORRY look. When he licks, I praise and pet him, saying KISSES GOOD! Puppies are hardwired to understand when they hurt another being.
@@kittenmimi5326 that’s what you’re supposed to do. I did that with mine and now whenever we play fight she bites very softly when she bites my hand. But if it’s her toys she bites hard
Definitely a good strategy… i just have a pup who is UNBOTHERED… if he gives me ouchies, if i fall, hurt myself, sneeze…. He’s like “you done pouting so we can play?
You are making a very important point. The game should be : over react to first bite, so the puppy learn that humans are fragile, unlike other puppy. You can see after first bite she already almost learnt the lesson and refuse to bite again. Stroking the hair should happen much later, for NOT biting again. Because when she's 7 months, biting will really hurt. Golden are so nice that it's very easy to teach them not biting, just do the first part of the video.
No, he isn't. There was enough time that passed, and she put her head down, before he stroked her. Then he stroked her when he presented his finger and she Didn't bite. He accomplished what he intended. She looked away from his fingers (submissive avoidance) and did not bite after the first few times. Then she licked. Perfect! We always yelped when puppies bit, just as mom or siblings would. I would growl if it persisted. Also as mom would do. They learned quickly.
"Why is my teething toy making all these strange sounds??" Definatley a beautiful little golden puppy, my fav breed, hoping to get my own little buddy in the next year. 👍❤🐶🐶
Good luck! I hope you get your golden pup soon. I've been wanting one for 10 years but my condo building doesn't allow dogs, so I'll have to wait until I move.
OMG cuteness overload. From the way she has placed herself on top of you with legs all stretched out she looks like a stuffed Golden. Absolutely precious little girl…great dogs, just like labs give you all that love. Enjoy her and thanks for chafing. ❤️
@@leehambleton9919 my aunt does and what he said is correct. There's no great secret to training puppies most of what you need to know can be learned on RU-vid or in a book.
I love this because this is actually a great way to teach a dog to play nice (be gentle/no biting) with others! It's actually the same way dogs learn to play with other dogs! Two dogs play, one of them yelps--signaling that it is uncomfortable or in pain--and the other dog now knows it shouldn't play like that! In a roundabout way, it teaches them to be mindful of their own strength! :D Dogs learn through association, and this method takes advantage of that! It teaches them that when they bite, playing stops. And from that they put two and two together "Oh, when I do XYZ, playtime is over!". And that process is the same for every trick a dog learns "Oh, when I hear [command] I have to do [trick]". This is also how dogs can pick up on things you haven't even taught them! "When X happens, Y will follow!". They learn that grabbing a leash means going for a walk, picking up their bowl means food, how to get your attention to be let outside, etc. It's all through association!! :]
I just absolutely love Labrador retriever and labradors. I have had 2 golden Labradors and a black Labrador. I love the look on this wee fella face of confusion. Bless him.
This guy certainly never does. At least I don’t think he is. All he does is make videos with his pets and gets huge views off of those. Not a bad life. 😜
Puppies has such a sweet nature, this video melts my heart. Pets are so lovely, sweet, nice, cute, caring and such an adorable😍😍. Do you have a pet? 🇺🇸
@@johnortega8078 Yes. I have a 6-year-old black Lab name, Rocky. He is the sunshine of my life. I love these videos as well. They truly melt my heart and make me laugh all the time. ☺
@@onemajorhottie Wow you're such a Nice lady for doing that, Bless your heart for your good works🙏🏻 I do own a German shepherd and a cat, pickles and paradise, 3 and 2 year old, how is Rocky doing today and hope you all are safe over there? Where are you from?
@@johnortega8078 Rocky is great always. He is happy, very playful, and will go with me to the park today because we are having nice weather. We live in the U.S. on the east coast so when the weather is good he gets lots of exercise. I like the names of your pets. 🐕🦺🐈

aww so adorable and cute😍🥺i love golden rets so effing much i wish i could get one when i move out❤️when u kept ur hand close to its mouth it didn't even bite, how sweet
Good you teach that biting hurts and he shouldn t do it. But it s true you shouldn't laugh neighter caress him when he bites cause he could go thinking you like it he bites you. Cute doggy 💗
@@marcolorenzo00089 Yes we do, we have a beautiful Basset hound, and we have had many Bassets over the years. I love all breeds but Bassets win my heart.
I have a Siberian/timberwolf/Malamute mix. When he nipped as a pup, I screamed like a banshee and startled the bejeepers out of him. Mika has sensitive ears, so it was a very short training session. He has become the very model of gentlemanly restraint. 😎🐺
I accidentally taught my dog to let go of what she's holding by saying "ow" She always lets go if I say ow and gives me a bunch of kisses afterwards- I love retrievers and retriever mixes- they're just so cute and sweet-
This is actually a good way to show your puppy the right amount of a "bite" ... with this training he will never hurt you even if he bites you (cause a dog normally don't want to hurt his owners but biting is the last resort to show that you as the owner should stop doing whatever you are doing right now)
Your puppy is soooooooo Cuuuuuute...He is so compassionate...After the 1st ouch...he was careful not to take ur finger inside his mouth again...but being puppies he could not even restrain further ...N so softly he was licking (loving) ur finger after the 2nd ouch....Soooooo adorable he is....I wish i could hug him.Puppy is also smart to know that it's not hurting you anymore
