Pretty Lace Bookmark Crochet Pattern 

This is very pretty Sarah. I will probably be making quite a few of these. This pattern would be a great simple project if you're wanting to get your grandkids or others into crocheting. It's really easy but beautiful to. I tried to teach my grandson how to crochet but he couldn't grasp it and he was pretty disappointed and I said well hun don't sweat it because I've tried knitting and I absolutely cannot do it. He took a couple knitting needles out of the vase I kept them in and says, let me try. I said ok big man go for it. I picked a beginner video doubting he would catch on🙄... thirty mins later he had it down pat and was telling me different things she could have been doing better😑. He then says this is to easy and found a video that didn't say for beginners, smh. Go figure, lol.. Great tutorial Sarah!!! Tyfs God bless you

I found 56 chains to be way too long so I chained 40 and it comes out with 9 “scallops”. Perfect!

How pretty

Why does mine twist?

for some reason mine keeps curling! do you know what would cause this?

You’re so good at what you do. When you say it’s an easy pattern, you mean it. Most creators put difficult patterns on their videos and call it easy but most of us find it hard to try it. I just started crocheting last month so there’s no way I should know how to crotchet a heart pattern!!!

Isn’t it too thick for a bookmark? It looks thicker than the bookmarks one can buy at a bookstore.
