As soon as my kid woke up at the crack of dawn, I knew I could find some happiness at your channel! Cheers to all the other toddler mommas who need huge cups of coffee this morning.
For the naan, I spread a BBQ sauce, add some shredded rotisserie chicken, red onion sliced thin, and a melting cheese of choice. Little BBQ chicken naan pizzas, so darn good 😉
Hi Kim, so glad that you were able to get your refrigerator fixed instead of having to buy a new one. Awesome grocery haul. You always are so much fun to watch!
I woke up and washed all the produce I bought yesterday at Sam's Club so my nagging toddler could have some with his breakfast. While doing so , I thought to myself, "this is much less satisfying than watching kim wash her fruit" Needless to say, I came here for the fruit washing. Thanks for never disappointing me. Lol From your neighbors in Orlando😊
You can tell a ripe pineapple by pulling the center most leaf out of the top. The easier it pulls out the riper the pineapple. :) now doooowwiitt. 😂😂 it’s always worked for me - also miss the mini hand for the grocery hauls - cracks us up - thank you for all you do bringing that happy into my day!
Kim, I know u know, but I make my hard boiled eggs in your fav piece of equipment! Yes, the IP. I promise add 1 cup of water and add 2 eggs or a dozen I set mine at 6 min. Once it pressurises I do a quick release and straight into an ice bath! They come out perfect u can peel them so easy and I put them in a container with the date on top. They hold up beautifully. They don’t taste funny at all. Seriously 6 min well, a little time to pressurise but that’s no time at all! We use them for salad, tuna, egg salad, breakfast.
Yes I'm an insta pot user for boiled eggs 😂 I'm convinced it's the best way now 😃 .I don't make much in mine though still learning but eggs an mashed taters yum out of the insta pot
Kim, I just love you so much. Going into the new year I’m like “bleeh how do I do life again?” And then I watch a video like this and I’m like “oh yeah- this is how I mom!” I feel a little less alone as a stay at home mom when I watch your videos and feel such a camaraderie with how you cook and shop and run your household and family. Thanks for being like a sister I get to do life with!! 🤍 also, you make me laugh like no one else. Your whole “mother of peeeeeeearl!” Gets me every single time LOL!!! And the kids coming over asking for a snack “ewww seaweed, yucccck. Ya gotta try new food cuz it might taste gooooooood!” LOLOL literally dying
You are my most favorite youtuber! You know how when you find a show you just absolutely LOVE and you wish so much that you could make next weeks episode come right now, thats how I feel about your videos lol I always want more, more, more! Thanks for being you!
When you got scared and said "a human this time" I laughed so hard I had tears coming out my eyes lol. I enjoy your videos so much, they brighten my day ♥
I can't WAIT for the Pantry Organizing video!! We're not expecting (or even hoping for) that "youtube perfect" pantry with the bins...bc I wanna see how a REAL MAMA organizes her chaos amidst 4 kids!
We got an egg cooker from Walmart for $9. It's been the best. Have had hard boiled eggs every day for over a month now. Cooked them once every few days and put them in the fridge.
You bring so much joy to us.. you are an incredible mother, wife and friend.. im so glad I found your channel, you have made my day so many times.. thank you for sharing.. I love all your videos
First things first. SO glad your fridge has been fixed - MUCH cheaper than buying a new one. Secondly, I absolutely LOVE your Grandpa sweater - so cute and colorful. Always fun hanging out with you, Kim. Thanks for putting a little happy in my day!!!
Can I just say a great big THANK YOU for announcing the title & artist of that incredible song playing while you’re cutting up strawberries!!!💕 I absolutely LOVE it! …you’ve used it a few times and for what feels like months I’ve searched for it on Apple Music - looking for songs titled “rain”, “rainbows”, “be brave” and every other word I thought I heard in it 🤣 … but now I have it!!🎉Yay!!! I never miss your videos, love them! Thanks for always putting a little happy in my day - especially today! So happy to finally have that song!!!💗
Oh my gosh, I just came across your channel and I am so happy I did because you are so funny and so real! I don't normally leave comments when I watch RU-vid but I really had a good laugh before going to bed, watching your videos.. it felt so good.. Thank you!
Hi Kim, you should try storing your food storage containers with the lids on (as per Dana from A slob comes clean), sounds weird but it prevents the hunt to find the matching lid and means you can only keep so many (not too many). Love your videos, you keep me company when I am getting things done around the house 😊
I meal prepped/planned this week too! Who am I? I've always know it'd be better, easier, save money possibly, etc, but never got into the groove of doing it. I hope 2022 is the year I get this part of my life together.
I always enjoy watching your video's no matter what your doing. Your fun to watch. I need to learn some good reciepies for baking chicken. I usually just put em in a pan w water an seasoning on top an they don't come out that great.
If you're looking for creamy... you NEED TO TRY CASHEW MILK!!! The texture is SO GOOD... I made low cal biscuits and gravy last week using cashew milk and I was skeptical but legit I could NOT tell that it was dairy-free. It was still just as thick and rich as whole milk/ cream gravy.
So glad you found the ripple brand!! They have an actual half and half in the creamer section of the store. But I also think the ripple milk is thicker than others. I hope it worked out. I neeeeeeed that Alfredo recipe!!!! 😋
Kim, I love your upbeat carefree attitude especially with cooking. I am a non measure gal too, except for baking. Anyway, I am sure you know but if you want to get the cooked on black stuff off your sheet pan, try this. Use baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Mix together into a thin gravy consistency, spread on pan with fingers, rub it in, let set for 2 hours. Use a SOS pad or brillo pad and scrub away, and then rinse with warm water.
Cool hack I learned from Tik Tok. If you slightly crack the very bottom of the egg before you boil it it makes it SO much easier to peel. It works every time.
So glad your refrigerator is working. Love a good grocery haul and the fruit & honey slo-mos were awesome! Thank you! Happy is in my day now for sure. Have a wonderful weekend, Kim and the Wads crew! xoxo
Cooking eggs in the instant pot is so easy! 5 minutes then put them in ice water! I used to hate making hard boiled eggs too but this is a game changer!
After watching your Costco hauls I know what I want to get there! Happy the holidays and birthday season is over. You need a break and then I’ll look forward to your pantry and organizing videos!! 🤣🤣
Kim thank you 🙏 I was missing your grocery hauls and food prep. That chicken looked so good I could definitely eat that so yummy. I look forward to more cooking it’s so relaxing and fun to watch. Hugs 🤗 for everyone and I love ❤️ you guys. 🙏🤗👍🥶☃️❄️🇨🇦
Tip for cantaloupe - if you smell where the stem was connected to the melon and it's sweet that means it's ripe. The sweeter it smells the sweeter it will taste!
I have been loving Costco berries lately. They seem to last much longer than any other grocery store berries. Might be they are fresher. Costco produce is my favorite. I think your haul has the right balance of fruits and veggies vs sugar. Also, the grandpa sweater is so cute!!
We are trying a dairy-free diet for our son to see if he feels better minus the dairy. It seems to be helping so far. I love getting ideas from your hauls. It also helps me not feel so alone while figuring out what he can and can't have. Thanks for sharing!! 😍
Kim I have to tell you that I watch your vlog so much that I have started to say "long story long". Yesterday, I said it while talking to my team at work and they all chuckled.
you seriously need to set up 2x 2mx12m vege gardens. your back yard is huge, put one on each side close to the fence, & set up automatic reticulation. use 10cm risers tipped with a micro spray & set to water just before sunrise, 8:30am, dusk, & 11pm for 6mins. it uses minimal water and whatever you plant will absolutely thrive. the only care needed is a little weeding & a chat💗 vitamin b3, vitamin d, & immune boost are musts for helping protect against viruses xx
Yuca fries are really easy to make. And the way cubans make it is amazing. Usually we peel cut and boil the yuca root until they are tender. We just check with a fork. Then we make a mojo with lime garlic onion and oil. We sauté that mix and pour it over the yuca. We eat it like that and the next day with the left overs. We fry them and make yuca fries but they taste delicious because they have already been flavored with that mojo. Try to make it like that. You wont regret it. Blessings.
Best snack ever...Granny Smith apples cut in thin-ish sections with extra sharp cheddar cheese cut in same size sections as apples. Put one of apple and one of cheese section together and enjoy. So yummy 💜💙💚💛🧡
Forrager makes THE BEST dairy free yogurt! I usually find it at sprouts. If you haven’t tried that brand yet. They have all the good flavors too if you’re into fruit yogurt 🤤🤤
Question...what was the $20 Part for your fridge called? We have the same fridge with the same issue you had. My husband said ask her what it is, I will fix ours.
We're thinking of buying our current house, like a rent to own situation. And if we do, we're gonna enlarge our pantry... seeing yours makes me excited to see ours grow.
Wait until strawberry season to make your jam. Fresh picked strawberries the best! Make a family outing and pick them yourself! Also, Zuppa Toscana for your kale 😋
What a comforting video! My favs costco shop with me and haul Next! Storage room re-organization and kitchen drawers as well. Subscriber unboxing videos?? 😩i asked like a gazillion times , last one you make it on your bday in june
I love the Italian dressing, lime, and honey marinade! I actually came across it trying to find a copycat recipe for Cracker Barrel's chicken tenderloins. *Chef's Kiss* Loved your 16 Candles shirt and both nail polishes. You're the best! 🤍
My dad has been looking everywhere for those spicy bean burgers and we can't find them here in Columbia, SC. We thought they stopped making them. I'll tell him to go to Publix. Maybe he can special order them from there since they carry them in their stores in FL. He loves them, too. I hope your daughter is having a good birthday and you are surviving the two days of fun. Hope you have a good weekend!
I have found the best hummus. It’s from Target - good & gather classic hummus. So good. Very limited ingredients. The whole family loves it. You should try it.
Love your grocery haul's love seeing the different items around. Never saw pre-boil eggs yikes 😬...jam is easy to make in the stovetop you can do that your an excellent cook..
I make a dozen hard boiled eggs in my instant pot every week its the easiest thing ever. I use the 5/5/5 method and they are perfect every time. Peel the in a Tupperware with a little water, close and shake hard. Shells come right off. Store in the fridge and eat as i go!
Love your videos❤ If you ever have the time I would really enjoy seeing DF and GF meals. Just found I have an allergy to both and making meals for myself and my family has been somewhat difficult.
I second this .also corn starch if u can use it is good for making gravies with ur preferred fat an then either use water , stock or dairy free milk to create the right thickness. I've had luck using bob's red mill 1 to 1 ratio flour to make gluten dairy free cookies an a vegan zucchini bread.
Try oatcake biscuits (low sugar high fibre) with tahini n little honey as a snack...it's like Greek sweets 😍. And make your humus. 2 cans chickpeas makes a huge bowlful. You can then freeze it ! Fab🤗🤗💓
I love tahini with honey, it is soo nutrition and tasty (as a traditional Greek girl, haha)! And in oatcake biscuits must be awesome 👌! I will try the humus recipe as you said! Can't wait!
I try all kinds of apples but always go back to Red Delicious as my fave. I’m glad you got your frig fixed instead of buying a new one. My goal for this year is to save for an upright freezer.
