For the avocados, if they are ripe now, you can put them in the fridge and they will stay at that ripeness for a week or even longer without going right to brown!

When you make the recipe books for your family, be sure to make extras for your girls. Give it to them on their 18th birthday. My boys and their wives use the cookbook I made.

The measuring cup that came with your Dash has a piercing tool on the one end of it. Pierce the top of your eggs before you put them in your Dash. This will prevent your eggs from exploding 🤗 I look forward to watching all of your videos! You put a lot of happy in my day! ❤️

Hey Kim, when you did the recent video when you organized the ziploc bag drawer and some cabinets, the corner cabinet to the right of refrigerator is where your measuring cup is for the DASH. I was pointing at the cabinet when you said you didn't know where it was. Haha ! You also need to pierce the fat end of the the egg and have that part of the egg pointing up in the DASH. I put my little cup inside my DASH with all the other pieces of it, that way i'm not hunting for mine. Love you as always ♥♥♥

Freezing avocado’s works great! I just mash the “flesh” and put it in containers. Making guacamole with it once it’s been frozen tastes just like you’ve made it fresh 👍🏼

You can make a milk shake out of the ice cream. Mix the ice cream with half and half and blend.. it's still cold but easier to eat for sensitive teeth. I like ice cream in my coffee as a treat. 😋

put the avocados in the fridge even if they are soft, they last alot longer this way. I tend to forget about them so if i let them out I mights as well throw them in the garbage but when I forget about them in the firge I have them for 2 weeks :)

Omgosh, your egg situation made me giggle! I have done this as well. I have learned its not the water level its the poking the top of the shell with that tool it comes with! That lets it cook without the exploding!

You are so much like I was when my son was growing up and his friends came over. Having foods that his friends could eat. One had diabetes and one had cronh’s disease. Sad thing both have die. Diabetic from Covid renal failure at 24. The other car accident at 21, but thankfully my son had more friends to help him through all of these difficult times.

The cookbook idea!! 👌 If possible you should try from now until your kids get married or turn 18 whichever you prefer save recipes they love and some of your favourites and give it as a gift to them. I wish my mom did this with me, so I’m doing it with my kids now haha :)

Girl freeze those avocados!!! I usually cut mine in half and remove the pit and put them in food storage bags. They really freeze well!! I’m always amazed how you have the strength to get out another video, and every single one of them is so fun! Hope you’re feeling better 🤗💖😉

I have a smaller version of an egg cooker but the directions are to prick the end of each egg to keep them from bursting while they cook. The little water pitcher has a small prick thing on it.
