I agree that Emily is a good friend to Toby but if I see my friend hurting like this I wouldn't be defending the guy who did this to her I know that Toby only did this to protect Spencer but she didn't know that at that time so I think Emily should off been a little more understandable of the situation in know that her and Toby are close but Spencer is her best friend
I love how loyal and protective Emily is of her friends. Her first reaction to hug Spencer when she saw her and her first reaction when she heard Spencer say Toby was A. She couldn’t believe it.
How dumb is Emily? “The toby I know would never doing anything to hurt us” that’s the whole point. Mona was acting normal when she was a so obviously you just know that one side of him. Also why would you defend him against your best friend
Mo it wasn't Aria because i watched one that showed after that and she said thanks god i got your text and spencer said yea ik or something like that!!
emily is so annoying sometimes i know toby wasn’t A but she shouldn’t be like that she defends him so many times after this AAAAA so annoying she should have believed spencer
Does anyone get the sense while watching the show that the other girls didnt value spencers freindship as much, like they werent very supportive of her many times
Yeah I have been rewatching the season and they really aren’t I mean she figured out before anyone else about Toby and Ezra showed them evidence and they still didn’t believe her. Even when she had evidence
True.multiple times. They expect her to come up with solutions but none of them did anything supportive ( other than spit empty words ) when she needed help.
No she didn’t believe that spencer was lying and she was very close minded and so quick to jump to conclusions and bases her whole life around her new love intrest
Emily shouldn't have doubted spencer here. She's always way too trusting of people and it's annoying tbh in a show like this. She's normally the one that doesn't believe Spencer's theories.
Maybe she didn't believe Toby could have been the one to hurt Spencer cuz in season one she was great friends with Toby. And Toby proved to have a good heart. Also, Cece was the one that locked Spencer not Toby, so Emily was right with that there is more to this
Toby can be a jerk sometimes. Plus, while it's nice in theory that Em still has faith in him, she could've been more sympathetic to Spencer. I mean, Toby is the love of her life and betrayed her, and instead of consoling her best friend over her feelings, Emily takes them as a personal affront and makes the situation all about herself. "He's MY friend and he wouldn't do something like that."
I'm not quite sure what you're getting at. I was just saying Emily should've responded to Spencer more gently since she'd been through a trauma. Supporting Toby is fine, but Emily's not the one who had her heart ripped out.
@BeautyQueen2023X Girl, calm down. I wrote that stuff six years ago and it's not that serious. First of all, why you talking to me like you know what I'm thinking? Not everyone thinks the same way just cause they happen to happen to share a fondness for the same character. That being said, it's been a long time, but from what I remember, when feelings of anyone in the friend group were considered, it was always Spencer or Hannah doing the considering. Aria was a self-involved turd and Emily was a self-righteous jerk. What did accusing Paige and Ezra of being A have to do with being considerate of anyone's feelings? If someone were harassing you and your friends, and you suspected it was one of your friends' significant others, would you let them continue to see that person just to spare their feelings? Besides, while Ezra might not have been A, he was still guilty af. There is no point, whatsoever, in making up what-if scenarios over how Spencer would behave if she were friends with Paige and Emily accused her, or whatever it was you said. There's no point, because Spencer never reacts to things the same way Emily does. Lastly, no one ever said Spencer was perfect. I never looked at the character through rose-colored glasses. I just know that, to me, her good qualities far outnumber the others' good ones (I don't think Aria has any), and I can easily tolerate her bad ones. It's just like how you clearly can tolerate Emily's bad qualities.
jenn xo Say you loose someone you loved........ Loved so much she ended up at radley cause she thought Toby died, some people can’t take the fact that a loved one died, she’s strong
@@jennxo587 She isn't crazy. She had mental breakdown from everything that happened to her. Plus, Mona was luring her in Radley to offer her to join the ATeam. That's no weak. Come on now, she's the one who was able to plan something and got more information even if she's at Radley. 😂 Emily is the weakest link, but for positive reasons, like this one, she's able to make a good sense out of a bad situation. She don't easily distrust a person.
UnexpectedWarlock So, Emily is her best friend, I wouldn’t be defending the guy that did this to my best friend, Spencer was hurting and she defending Toby......
