Pam in season 1: THIS IS WRONG! Pam in season 7: *gives Alison their family ring so she could propose to Emily * We love character development. Kenneth Dilaurentis can't relate.
I told my parents that I like a girl and my dad said “I was hoping you would like girls because guys are dogs” I love my dad so much I wish everyone’s parents were like that😞what’s so wrong with it? Aren’t we supposed to love whoever we want?
Littlecp this coming out story is so cute I'm so glad your dad is so happy for you in the society we should be able to love who we want to but there's always judgemental people in the world
^^ Not my problem you're watching clips of the show on RU-vid, AND scrolling through the comments. That is quite an idiotic thing to do if you don't want spoilers, honey!
Yeah, a clip from season 1, it was revealed her dad died in Season 6. How about you warn someone before spoiling something that happens 5 seasons later smh.
I love how her mom is totally overreacting in this scene but in the last episode she baby-sits Emily and Ali's babies, while chatting with Alison in secret about her and Em getting married 😍
Crazy QueerPerson Sasha / Alison should be the one who would win the Oskar. I love Emily, but Alison / Sasha is also a great actress. No Comparing just thought that Alison should win it instead.
Yamini Matthews TEEN Choice Awards? Are you serious? Do you really think Teen Choice Awards actually rewards talent? TCA is all about popularity, beauty and social networks. Shay Mitchell is a beautiful and kind woman but she has literally one or maybe two expressions. Troian, Sasha, Janel and maybe Lucy are the only good actresses in PLL (and Holly Marie Combs, but she has a very small role) and they barely receive a little bit of considerarion in TCA, because nowdays no one gives a fuck if you're actually a good actor or actress, let's be honest! When Shay Mitchell will be mominated for a Grammy it will be a different speech.
looking back at this show, the writers handled emily’s sexuality pretty well. from what i can remember (i haven’t watched the whole show in a while) the writers never made her character revolve around her sexuality. they just had her coming out scene, and couple other scenes, and then just carried on with the plot. i really appreciate that because while her being gay is her identity and who she is, the writers didn’t make it her only character trait. (i hope you guys see what i’m saying here)
For years my parents pushed me to come out, saying they'd accept me no matter what. I finally did just about a year ago and they have never mentioned it since, never talked about it once. In fact, my mum was trying to push me into getting with a guy. Doesn't bother me much because I am 24 now and moved out a long time ago, but I feel like the last six years on my own has opened my eyes to an entire world their shut in existence will never know. It's shown me that they're very narrow minded and I absolutely do not need their acceptance or approval for anything I do.
I haven't told my parents yet! Im so scared of what they would think. My sister already told them that she was lesbian! Now they have 2 children that r gay. What do I do???😢
be whom you truly are. They WILL still love you. You are their child, and the are your parents. If your sis is gay, well that means that they have accepted it!
+Merve Eda Cilek I am sexually attracted to men but I'm not sure if I'm romantically attracted to them. Although I act like a girl a lot. My sister told me to get a girl first and see how I feel about her and then a guy. Should I do what she says? And am I bi for right now?
Great scene. Really relatable for people who have had to come out to their family/friends. Really awesome that ABC Family shows that being Gay is perfectly fine.
I never knew what gay way but ever since i was in 4th grade i always had some kind of attraction to girls. And how one day we had this chance to camping and i had to sleep next to this beautiful girl and my heart just started to beat so fast. It was me at 6th grade. I dont know anything but now it all makes sense
+grimes clair "HEY Little Lady". Welcome to the world, Your simply going through changes many others before You have gone through. If You like Guy's or Gal's it doesn't make You a Bad Person. Be Honest with Yourself before trying to maker everyone around You Happy. Ya only live once so don't waste it on Stupid People... Be Well and Be True to Yourself..
Honestly the dad is a truly amazing man like who in the world would be so understanding! He deserves so much better. He's my fav dad in the whole series ♥
Emily's day was always great to me. The actor, Eric Steinberg, deserves so much more recognition. He's intense and strong and protective in his demeanor and that needs to be used more.
You can believe in anything you want, I don't believe in god and I'm bisexual, but I respect people how believe in god and I don't try to tell them what they should or shouldn't believe in
Brave Brave Emily, coming out. There is no right and wrong. Theres nothing wrong being who u are. Some ppl have fear of coming out as gay, or Bisexual. Some ppl have Boyfriends and girlfriends who would freak out if they knew. And in some situations, them being free and who they are would make things Exponentially Worse in their already rocky relationship
I haven’t told anyone I’m bi except my best friend, my mom is very accepting, but my dad, stepmom, sister, brother, and sister’s boyfriend don’t really accept gay people and I’m just scared for the day that I have to tell them
Lol Okay i thought that every straight dad's reaction to finding out that their daughter is gay goes like this. Girl: Dad I'm a leasiben, Dad: That is Awsome!!!! Rotfl family guy refrence. but it's true if a guy likes girl on girl then he shouldn't have a problem with his daughter being gay. Totaly random thing i kno but I've heard cases were the dad flips out even if he thinks lesabians are hot.
@giffardful Hey its cool it takes time we all have our time sooner or later. My best friend is a lesbian i am bi but shes out and im not. so trust me we all have our time
