Can you put down Duocide in the Spring to get rid of the grub worms that are present now so that they will not emerge in June as Beetles? I am in the Mid-Atlantic area and use a cool season grass, but I have noticed grubs everywhere already.

Probably wldnt hurt it will take care of multiple insects just not grubs.

You say late July...is that just for Ohio slash cool season people? I'm down here in San Antonio TX with warm season bermuda grass

Those in the south will see grub activity about a month earlier than those in the north. Therefore, late June is a good time to apply a preventative grub control product in the south.

The main intent for a preventative grub control product is to avoid a large amount of grubs from feeding on your lawn after beetle mating season which will damage the lawn in large and concentrated areas. This commonly occurs in late June in the south.
