OK. So the JCW Mini, as shown in this video, is not the best in performance by a long way if you compare it money for money with other car makers. However, look at the Mini and it's rivals from 100 yards away and the Mini is probably the only one you'd recognise for being what it is. A Mini. And If you "de-badged" it's rivals and stood 10 yards away from them, again, the Mini would probably be the only recognisable car. Most other car makers are Euro blobs designed in wind tunnels and, as such, they all look pretty much the same. Mini changes these rules and makes a car that stands out from the crowd. Plus, if you've never driven the new F56, you don't know what your missing. The interior is classy, handles like a go cart and is very, very capable of making you lose your licence.
I recognize that isle de Malorca. Having been there a couple times in the mid / late 1990s while serving aboard two different USA warships. Nice holiday spot but is a Crazy place
Mini Cooper = lifestyle. This is the best size i guess. Hopefully in future it won't grow in size or else it would start losing its customers. 3:20 remember to pop that tiny half-transparent display up while your are doing housekeeping for the interior cause it needs some cleaning too LOL ! This JCW thing looks too "Mr. Bryte". guess all those shiny grill, lamp casing & door trim etc etc could be replaced by matte-finished materials, with maybe a set of 18 or 19-inch black wheels and its definitely looks more "Darth Vader". in fact JCW has done a better job in previous versions (R56). so excited that i thought Autogefuhl found a new test site, but disappointed by no sight of Thomas in the video !
For the adult version of this car see the 125i. Same engine, correct wheel drive and you don’t have to be seen in a gimmicky retro cars that backfires for no reason. Fake bonnet scoop? In a world of fake vents that takes the biscuit.
