@@thewolf61691 2% is way more than $1500 over the life of the loan. The 0% is a much better deal. See if they will give you the 0% if you give them $1500 still. Either way it’s a good deal still.

So that was a miracle. I accidentally got a great but super old attorney who used to work for the irs and he figured out a way with a loophole where if the taxes were more than 3 years old, but all returns were filed on time, and they were 40% or more if the total debt then it could be considered a business BK and he got it wiped out. It was all because of a crappy tax guy and a violent long term audit.

Just embrace the discipline you’ve been taught. The Air Force really did prepare me well for the business world. Trust your gut, push yourself hard, be strategic in all of your moves, and never lose your military bearing. 👍👍

That’s a good question for sure. And I’m a big believer that people should live within their means and never put their families in financial jeopardy for any reason. So if you can afford it without putting too much unnecessary pressure and risk on yourself then I say to do it. IF you are on an upward trajectory in your career and anticipate income growth then that reduces the risk and pressure of course. Also, think of trade offs too. I prefer to buy cars over other spends, so I keep other spends under control to allow for saving and investing to continue while owning my cool cars. Create a budget and if a boring but reliable car will cost you $500 month and a Scat Pack will cost you $700, plus another $50 month for insurance, then you need to either earn $250 more per month, or reduce other expenses by that much. I prefer to earn more whenever possible but sometimes that can take time. If you can’t do either then it may be wise to wait until you have a solid financial plan to earn more money as not to stress yourself and your family. In the end, just don’t give up and set a timeline where you’re going to make it happen as it is goals and dreams that drive growth and achievement out of us. 👍

I’m with a credit union and they won’t do a 4th car loan at that low of a rate. Remember my situation is not normal. You’re thinking of a primary vehicle. This is a 4th loan for a pleasure vehicle.

People always say "credit union" like that's all it takes lol. Credit unions are the pickiest when giving out loans and are big on relationships. Been with Navy Fed for years and when I wanted to buy my Charger they denied me with good credit and history.

No. But I detailed everything in the video and didn’t leave anything out.

The next level up on a Lambo is the Huracan and those are well over $250k now. That’s $50k down and $2700 month. So still an extra $1000 on top of the Charger and $100k more in price. BUT you’re right I could’ve done that, but the main reason for the Charger is that I needed a daily driver with 4 doors for work after selling the Prius. I’ll get the Huracan early next year for sure though. Just doesn’t make sense right now with those prices soooo high on them.

Without naming my banks, my relationship with JP Morgan Chase is very good so they were ok funding a 5th car loan. My credit union specializes in normal everyday folks who have one or two cars between husband and wife. My main bank doesn’t do car loans. Once you pass 2-300k in car loans the options shrink a little despite very strong income, assets, and credit score.

So I searched big cities for dodge dealers and then went to their dealer site. We knew we were going to be in St Louis so we searched every dealer in that area. So just pick bigger metros where you’d be willing to travel to and search “dodge dealer in St Louis and they will all come up around there”. Etc.
