People that build cars know $45,000 is not bad at all considering all of the work that went into this Mustang. A shell today in good shape costs $15,000. The paint is great and so is everything else. Hope she enjoys driving her!
Personally I think that's a lot of car for 45K? Maybe still has a few tweaks to be made but the car looks great and with the EFI and virtually all new drive train you have a very cool daily. 😎 thanks to you and the owner for sharing a peek under the hood!
It’s a beautiful car and after driving it and taking a close look I can see how someone who has the money would spend it on something like this. But I don’t have that kind of money so I will just enjoy looking at with everyone else.
I think I said it a lot in this video on how the camera really does not do it justice. The paint job is one of the best I’ve ever seen, not that I’m some kind of expert👍
Gotta disagree mike, this is a crazy price. I mean it's just a common coupe 289, stock suspension. They made so many of them. If it was maybe rare code with matching numbers, tubular suspension etc. Then maybe. Like they say ya can put hundreds of thousands of dollars in a classic but doesn't mean you'll get that back. That being said it is a nice car.
Honestly 45k is not bad for all the work done to that mustang now me personally I would probably go for the mostly stock 15k mustang because I could put my own spin on it as far as looks and performance vs the 45k one that's already completed but I would love to own either one both are beautiful
To some it sounds ridiculous spending that kind of money on an old car. But those same people are why car shows are so popular. In the end it’s our own money, we can do what we want with it and we are preserving history.
I would put my money on the fully stock pony any day because of originality that red Frankenstein is not worth it 45000 I would go buy a Tacoma and I did
Your right he could have bought a new Tacoma and he would be losing value everyday. You sir are a genius. I would like to hear more investment advice from you please
@martydeem404 you just don't get it at my age I don't have 20 more years of life left to wait for a mustang to appreciate in value my other 2 hobbies are a hand full as it is sports cards & guitars
I'm not a murdered out kind of guy, the car would be better a more traditional look with chrome and stainless. Nice car tho, the color and interior....
I agree, sometime the murdered out look is taken to far. This has just the right amount to not make it look to dated. Also the finish on the parts that are blacked out is really smooth.
OMG!!! She Got "SCAMED" Totally. Believe Me I've Seen a Lot Of These 35 to 45 Hundred Mustangs and They Are Junk. OK the Badges are Wrong and The Blacked Out Badges are Wrong and The Radio Antina is Backwards. Look For Old Wires Around The Dash and Engine Bay ,Bet You'll Find Old Wires and Bondo!!!
That’s not crazy that’s not crazy at all at the beginning of the video I said out loud to myself 45 or 50,000 leaning more towards 50,000 so she spent 45,000 what will the car be worth in 15 years do the math a lot more than that!
@@pacoimaspeed I have a '65 mustang as well. Mine has a 289 block bored out to a 347 stroker. Black with red interior. Custom aluminum American Racing wheels. They were custom made, took them 6 weeks to get to me.
I have always loved mustangs. I have a 1967 that I’m working on. It has a stock 5.0 out of a 1989 mustang that I’m converting to Holley EFI Just recently did a video on how to change the shift linkage on an AOD transmission.
@@pacoimaspeed Nice! I don't have any videos of mine yet. I'll have to wait for spring/summer because I live were it snows and we got about 8" today alone.
