Thank you for uploading this video , so many many friends Frank Lythgoe with all The Showmans Engines, Goliiath was always my fav engine, SImon at the end, without him we would not have the show that we have today, and i go to lots of shows, and no other shows feel as relaxed as here, the barber family, the priestners, George Cole with 'Lucy Ashton', YB2010, the bark from this engine is so crisp, it still is, but, its nice to see old friends, thanks for the upload, Regards, Phil
Yes, he messed up, but for 15 years he gave some super super shows, Astle pk and Pickering were the beacons until it all fell apart, if you get a chance, talk to the coal guy ‘Sooty’ or the commentator Bryn, but Mr Boake rescued many failing shows, Astle would have ended in 1985 if he and Frank Lythgoe hand not stepped in, and by then Frank had 9 showman’s, inc the McLaren Goliath m it was a stunner
