Also worth noting, Grumman is actually the highest ranked person on the allied side. Mustang is a colonel and Olivier is a brigadier general, but Grumman is a full general and was good enough that the senior staff tried to recruit him. When he refused he wasn’t demoted, just shunted sideways to head eastern command, which means if he wasn’t backing the revolution and chose to countermand mustang the eastern troops probably don’t participate.
The comment about it not having been 7 months is cause she wouldn't be fully healed yet, that's all. It's never brought up in the anime (was probably revealed in a fanbook or something?) is that Chris Mustang isn't just his foster mother, she's his aunt (on his father's side iirc), who took him in after his parents died. Which is also probably why the ladies in the bar knew him, he probably grew up around them. Ling's always had access to Greed's powers, since they share a body. It's just that most of the time it's been Greed in control not Ling.
Lot of people say Alex was holding back in their fight because he didn’t use his alchemy, but notice that Olivier never used the sharp edge of her sword. They were both holding back in that fight yet still trashed the mansion lol.
Heinkel's finger guns at Ed's head kills me every time, it's so fucking funny. Naw, the transmuting by clapping thing is cause they saw the door of truth, Izumi can do it as well don't forget. Ed and Al are normal humans. About the only thing "special" about them is they're Xerxian by blood through Hohenheim. I love the shot in ep 46 where we see Ed and Winry face to face, b/c when you compare it a similar scene from waaay near the beginning of the series (I don't remember the ep but iirc it was when Ed was in the hospital and Winry fixing his shit) you see how much they've grown. Not just in height (as Ed is now taller than Winry) but like, facial and body shape. As for whe. he grew, it's been like, a year? almost, since the start of the series PLUS, Ed's new automail has been stated to be lighter than the old stuff, so it's probably not stunting his growth anymore. It's really not shown a lot in the anime but Hohenheim is a SAP and a hopeless romantic, esp towards his wife. Like, he's just a big sweetheart. The initial reason Hohenheim left, iirc, was he was trying to find a way to become mortal. But it was while doing that research he discovered the whole, country wide transmutation circle and shit and was like 'whelp, gotta put a stop to this' which is why he didn't come back. And don't worry about Grumman. You probably missed it cause you talked over it but the whole internal monologue we herd wasn't actually him, cause it ended with Miles going '-is probably what that guy is thinking'. It's what Miles was thinking that Grumman was thinking. Grumman wasn't actually thinking that
