LC State Center for Arts & History hosts a virtual artist talk featuring Jean Sredl and Patty Kennedy-Zafred on Aug. 30, 2024. This program is planned in conjunction with the “Primal Forces: Earth” art quilt exhibition, on view at the Center from Aug 1 - Oct 31, 2024. Primal Forces is a three- part series, and all are traveling exhibits from Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc. (SAQA). SAQA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt, which is defined as "a creative visual work that is layered and stitched or that references this form of stitched layered structure."
