Conquer a Wild World in Age of Wonders 4: Primal Fury! In the new content pack, players will discover new ways to conquer the realms, and bring the land itself under their control. The new Primal Culture will enable rulers to channel a Primal Animal that shapes their empire, both physically and spiritually. The Tome of Fey Mists and the Tome of the Stormborne, both added in Primal Fury, include new spells to conceal troops in magical fog, gain advantages over seas and shorelines, and even transform armies into fearsome nagas
In addition to Primal Fury, all players of Age of Wonders 4 will receive free Wolf Update, containing features, improvements, and game changes requested by the Age of Wonders community. Featuring a reworked necromancy system, offers of War Bounties to coax allies to your side, and a brand-new random item generator for hero gear, the free update will add new layers and options to the award-winning fantasy strategy title. Paradox will offer all players a chance to try the incredible worlds of Age of Wonders 4 during a free-to-play period on Xbox Game Pass from February 29 to March 4, 2024.

So what is the best way to get level 4 animals like white wolf, dire bear, etc? Wildlife sanctuary seems to only grant access to lower level animals, and summon greater animal is only level 3 animals.

I absolutely love this game since I discovered it! Wish I played it from release. However I think there is a missed opportunity here. He have moles, lizards, birds and now wolves, but no monkeys yet. I can’t be the only one who wants to build a monkey king kingdom… especially with an oriental culture! I can’t be the only one who thinks the Chinese mythology or any oriental mythology fits perfectly into this game.

Bought this a about a week ago and haven't been able to stop playing. I hope when Eldritch Realms finally drops we can get a new lord to play with, please. I mean seriously, what's the point of playing a Lovecraftian fantasy if you can't play as a seeker of forbidden knowledge who slowly starts to grow tentacles as he slips into madness?

i was reading the patch notes and all the changes look great, its like planetfall the more time that went by and the more DLC released the better the game got, look forward to this DLC and the ones after c: I'm an expansion pass enjoyer and will get expansion pass 2 if u come out with one

Personally I do not enjoy these types of games anymore because every faction is similarly as powerful and there is nothing you can do to sabotage their progress or hamper their efforts. The concept of balance needs to be re-examined in my opinion. Making good choices should be rewarded, while making bad ones should incur negative traits. Losing units can be recovered from in a few turns, and all empires keep advancing at the same pace no matter what! You are not better or worse at turn 1 than at turn 30 compared to most other empires!! Where is the fun in that? They put a lot of work in this title for sure, but trying so hard to keep empires balanced throughout no matter what is jarring.

I think it's the opposite, by turn 60 you become so strong that the computer can't resist you in any way.

Are you actually trying to attract xbox owners with a free to play event when the game is barely acceptable in terms of performance? I hope this means there is a meaningful patch coming. What with all the mist effects I can only imagine the framerate becoming even worse. Please fix Age of Wonders 4 on console.
