They recorded the dialogue for this game with Jen and Scree's voice actors both in the same room so the conversations would sound more natural. Underrated gem
@@kanatapaw sure did, there’s a lot of making of videos and outtakes. Instead of a booth they put the actors together in a rather large room and do their takes. It’s pretty cool to watch the flow of the dialogue, seems so much more natural. It’s definitely worth playing just for the story but the games are pretty fun too
Don’t know if this helps but I really wanted to play Prince of Persia Warrior Within recently, it was my childhood game. I downloaded Steam on my laptop and managed to buy it really cheap on there. Fortunately games that old can run really easily on any modern day laptop so you can always give this a go
I love this game so much!! you wouldn't believe, I actually have her tattoo on my back but instead of black its the 4 colours of her demons forms I also have a little gargoyle I call scree :) I'm so grateful to my dad for getting me into this game
Woah that’s cool! I know you posted this like a year ago but Iv actually been thinking about getting the same tattoo, black tho. Do people ask you about it?
I have the tattoo too. I got it when I was 18 I'm 29 now. xD Sadly I couldn't afford to get it large and black like hers so it's a bit smaller and just an outline. It is still great to have though this game is amazing
I remember being 7 and playing this game. Seeing a main female character back in the early 2000s was RARE. I loved the part of the ferai, sadly i got stuck on the water part of the game and didnt rent the game more (yes we used to rent games back then)
I got stuck outside of the Wraith village for almost an entire year because I didn't realize Scree had a rope that Jenn could climb down 😭 I also rented this from Blockbuster back in the day and then my mom bought it for my birthday because I loved it so much. It's such a fun game and I love Jenn.
@@jungtothehuimang we couldn't find cheats or walk-through as easily bsck then. You must of been so excited finally getting past that point. I know the part in the game you mean, that took me a while to figure out too.
Yup it did! Gods the loading times sometimes: it was clear the PS2 was struggling and not because of a matter of bad bloatware "software"/ game engine…😒looking at you, Raymen "revolution"😡.
So Glad I got to play this game years ago when it first came out I love the chemistry between Hudson Leick and Andreas Katsulas and seems like they both had fun going back and forth with each other
I rage quit this game so many times the first time I got it because I kept getting lost and couldn't figure out what to do. And of course my dad just thought his 8 year old daughter was throwing a tantrum because of something else. Nope I was just pissed at the video games I couldn't pass because I couldn't find the hidden secrets.
*I BET U GOT STUCK INTO THAT GOD DAMN WATER LEVEL, WHERE U HAVE TO WALK ALL THE WAY WITH SCREE, PUSH A STUPID ASS ROCK, AND THEN U CAN GO THROUH THE CURRENT* BUAAAGH SO DUMB
I like all scenes but the one where Scree return as Abdizur is my favourite one. I felt happy for him and the fact Jen was crying after saw Scree statue broken makes clear that she saw him as a friend, not just a companion.
This game was so good. The combat was super janky, but the story was so unique and and the puzzles were fun and interesting and growing up I wanted to be Jenn. I think a remaster or remake of this game would be so sickening. Such an underrated gem of a game.
@@johnfakester5527 PS4 re-release ruined the skyboxes so they don't display properly. Look at the game on og hardware and on PS3, you can see the difference.
Omg no one included the one extra cutscene when you get through talking to the shaman the first time. You walk up to the guys behind him and there’s another scene haha
I remember I got this game along time ago and never got to fully play it. PS2 save was full and my dad was a dong. I remembered the game but forgot the name, so it's cool I'll get to watch it
