I remember writing fan fiction of primal rage back in the day. Big falling out with the owner of the forum, but his concept was to bring Steven King's The Thing as the big bad of our series, calling him Montruro:a metamorphosis God taking on features of the gods he destroyed. I wonder if he ever made anything out if it?

As a long time Primal Rage fan, the comic series and Novel are my holy grails to find and collect, especially with the stories adding more to the Primal Rage lore. They are next to impossible to find in comic book stores and vintage book stores like Half Price Books, and online the prices are ridiculous. But as a consolation prize I was able to buy the Primal Rage Boardgame which got at a price below the usual 100 prize tag. Primal Rage isn't as well known as other games but boy the merchandise is as expensive as the Godzilla Trendmasters toys and collectibles, it is indeed a nostalgic franchise that deserves to come back!

I seem to also remember something about the last few issues in this brief series taking years to come out to. Like you mentioned, one of them was dated 1998. Which is really odd. I think the comic was repeatedly cancelled but kept coming back for one more issue, until it was completed.

The novel is great, definitely for the teen and older crowd, my great-aunt probably wouldn’t have bought it for me when I was a little girl if she had known that within the first few pages a woman shouts “I want a man before I die!” And then receives several volunteers Lmao. Also that Vertigo’s high priestess keeps herself young by draining the life out of male virgins as she deflowers them. Yep! It’s that kinda book. 😜🦖🦍🐍👯‍♀️

Been getting into kaiju. I forgot about primal rage. Thanks. I'm trying to find a good Mobile Game. I'm always on the run. Is there anything good? I have the Toho Trilogy. Smash 3 That's about it. I have a few console games but I'd like to find a mobile game. Wish there was a city builder. That would be the perfect kaiju game.Why there isn't is beyond me.

I know calling out a fighting game for problematic depictions of women is kind of like saying the sky is blue at this point, this one especially feels gross and sexist.
