Great video im looking forward to your thoughts on the hilantronics servos for this truck. I was thinking about going the same route. but the price is A little steep maybe after Christmas. I use There kill switches in my other cars. I was having the same problem with my reverse I just had to make an adjustment in the radio on mine. Hybrid had to move the clamp on the cable on his to make his work. again thanks for the shoutout

General Raminator, Liking it. Funny Ive seen several videos of these now and not one single owner has used the huge Raminator decals that come with it!

I had servo strip teeth. And reverse issue. Servo I fixed with a stock 5ive T 900s servo, has same gear set and reverse I adjusted the collar by engaging reverse and pulling cable to full extent then locked down collar under arm. Then a little epa and hasn't been a problem since. Was also considering the Hilantronics servos myself. Will let u guys be the testers on those first I think... Lol. Please do a build vid as u change over would like to see how your swapping to 8.4 and the setup for the other servos as well. 👊👍

That's the trouble with dual steering servos I've never had them just work for a long period of with the summit and the erevo if one servo is throwing just even one mm more or less than the other or running a tiny bit faster or slower than the other they fight eachother until one dies or both I always just rub one good servo seems to always work well. And your right this little battery is no match for so these 5 servos 👍

This truck is brand new and I appreciate the honesty in the videos. To the haters, these are untested waters and the mates are working out the kinks so we don't have to. 1/5 scale is expensive and everybody knows it, goes with the territory, but these guys are doing the field tests for the rest of us so thanks guys! 99% of everyone talking shit ain't got one so fuck off. thumbs up and a like

the truck wont easily shift into reverse because of the high rpm when idling. When it got stuck at 5:10 the high rpm at idle was still grabbing the clutch on that thing; hence why the transmission was still stuck in forward drive. even if you flipped a switch on the remote. JUST LOWER YOUR RPM on the idle speed screw on the carb

That is a bummer about the servos because in other videos it looks like they throw the truck around pretty well. I figured it was set up for lipo with as big as those servos are. Would like to see a video on upgrading the electronics. And big props for being honest with your review of the truck. I think we all have had that kind of problem with things in the past at least once.

from what I'm understanding by watching other videos there's a power issue in the shifting Servo there supposed to be a way to solve that by cutting the power down on your remote on that Servo cut it down to 87% it's drawing too much power...

I am looking forward to them bringing a roller out, so I can use my own electronic's motor and most of all the rear steer as I feel it is an important part of a monster truck. I use the Hilantronics servo's they are the best I have ever used, extremely expensive but well worth it, over any other brand I am using at the moment.

That truck is way past the top of the Rc Scale as far as cost goes but when it comes to quality and reliability its starting to look like Garbage they rushed to get to Market...Every video I watch on you tube from another person that bought this truck is either having the same problems or introducing NEW ONES . THERE SHOULD ONLY BE RANDOM PROBLEMS , SO RANDOM THAT YOU WOULDNT EVEN HERE ABOUT IT UNTIL ITS A YEAR OLD . With this thing all you have to do is click on a video of somebody trying to run there $3000 dollar truck and your gonna HEAR , WATCH , OR SEE something fail or give them a problem... This company needs to get together , as far as i'm concerned you'd have to be NUTZ to spend your money on this thing right now . It's already overpriced , at least wait till they either get there act together or go out of buisness . Unfortunalty I have a feeling they wont be building these things by this time next year...Not that I want that to happen , but obviusly this was rushed to market which is usually one of the worst signs of a companys strength

What a PYLE of junk. I'm glad I didn't waste my time on the waiting list for this one. Extremely heavy and under powered. I built a 1/5 monster truck and it is faster stronger and 100% better than this one. It has reverse that really works and 4 wheel steering to do cyclone doughnuts all day long. I truly own the worlds lightest 1/5 monster truck @ 55 LBS.

Alot of money for a overpriced tortoise, a guy can get far more fun for buck than that.

Awesome man love it, but I do remember when sparks through some general Lee stickers on his first Xmaxx.. took a bunch of heat from viewers saying he was being racist for having the confederate flag. Waste of money in my opinion, it's too big and under-powered , if you put a bigger engine in it then it will be even more unstable in corners than it is now because of the high center of gravity and increased cornering speed which has been proven by videos of other raminators with bigger engines in, they roll over a lot., so the only thing this is good for is going slow and looking at, it even sounds horrible like it has asthma. I think its a brilliant bit of engineering and made really well, just a shame the overall performance is so poor.

I almost pulled the trigger on gettn one. They look like a blast to run, but Thank God for RU-vid reviews!! at that price, with that turd of a mill I def lost gumption. I know it's just for fun and all that, and its huge etc etc, just not for me I guess. I hope whoever buys them and runs them has an absolute blast, and keeps us updated on hopups. For the same price, I bought a 2018 Yamaha Ex jetski instead, figured down here in Dallas area, we still have a couple months of summer left lol

Im sorry but I dont care how good most of it is in any RC its about time manufacturers started putting decent electronics and tyres on RTRs. So the whole package is fit for purpose out of the box! Ok if you want to improve it but it shouldnt be expected that its rubbish from the get go!😡
