Prime 1 Studio - DOCUMENTARY CITY HUNTER PREDATOR 

They really messed up the pose on this one sadly. Prime 1 have a great eye for details, but not so much for subtle character traits and how the predator moves which is just as important. Even the jungle hunter looks like a body builder pose wise. But this one is really bad. The low ES suggests we were right to ask for improvements. Shame they never came...

@@bowser515 I'm seriously baffled how Prime 1 approved this statue and how much they messed it up so badly. At 1:01 I don't know if it's the camera angle but his body looks seriously disproportionate. Along with the lame pose and terrible body disproportion, I feel like his head & mask look a bit inaccurate (but I must say, the closed mandible head bust and the screaming head look amazing!). The other thing that bothers me is his short wristblade at 1:19. Yes, some parts in the movie his wristblade is short like the scene when he kills the voodoo gang leader at the penthouse, but in the scene when he gets shot by Mike's shogun at the slaughterhouse, his wristblade is actually protruding out longer. I feel like Prime 1's Jungle Hunter statue is near perfect and looks magnificent. But I'm more of a fan of City Hunter. As much as this statue is a huge disappointment to me at the moment (especially the ridiculous stupid price), I'm still a little bit tempted to buy it. But I will wait until I see unboxing videos on RU-vid before I make my final decision.

@odus Yeah, the more I look at it, the more I can't figure out how they though this pose looked good. It's so awkward. It's such a shame that this could have potential been the be all and end all of city hunter collectibles, but a few wierd decisions prevented that. I actually prefer the city hunter to the JH. I love his beautiful mask and armour, most of which is hidden by having him awkwardly looking so far sideways. Even as a huge City hunter fan, I have no desire to order this tbh. Their 1/4 is better in every way and that shouldn't be the case. The mask is okay, but definitely could be improved. It's just the mask from their 1/4 version blown up in size. It's based more on the stunt mask sadly. The cheeks are to pointy and the dome at the rear I'd too narrow. The whole cheek/eye area should flow into the dome more than it does. They improved the Jungle hunter so much after it's initial release, the mask especially! It's such a shame they didn't do the same for this.

If that's all you're seeing, maybe there's a legitimate case for complaint? You don't think the pose could be better on this? I think the pose is awful personally. Not only does it not capture the lose movements of KPH, but aesthetically it looks really awkward....

@bowser515 yeah I do admit the pose and base could've been better but the paint and switchouts are nice

@@cwilsonsr7263 I agree this has great details, switch outs and paint. I love some of the heads on this. But none of that really meana much when the statue looks so awkward overall. It's a shame that they put so much effort into it all only for the pose to undermine that effort. If they would just relax the pose a bit and rotate the head more forward, this would probably look amazing!
