i also remember seeing this movie when i was a kid and it still gets me. i ended up pulling the trigger on the police station shootout with the deluxe battle damaged head. this statue looks so dope though!!!!
I agree that they shouldn't make such a drastic change like that. People make their buying decisions going by the prototype. That's a clever design of the battery box and on/off button. I also agree with you on the foot pegs, they definitely need a dark wash. I'd like to snag the full T-800 version (non dx).
Beautiful, I'm assembling the model, robotic (moves eyes and mouth) 1/2 scale in zinc alloy, the fun is precisely the assembly as well as the very interesting files, which deal with the film and current AI.
@@HorrorMonsterCollectibles oh I have been tempted. By both berserk and bloodborne. But I'm not doing it. 3 incredible statues will do it for me. Maybe lol
Putting this together is nothing but a scratch in James Cameron's ball's. Just think about all the month's he spent building set's(before computer imagery) shooting the Terminator. This movie was a breath taking ride for someone in the mid 80's.Me and my buddy Brian(May He Rest In Peace) were first in line to see it and if I remember right, we got there about 2am - LOL I am a Huge JC fan. Great Review my Friend!
Just received this statue got it at a great price second hand. I've owned pretty much all endos over the years and have to say this is by far the best. The details and effort that have gone into this piece is unbelievable and yes I love the lean! Prime 1 you can tell have put alot of effort in the support on the legs due to the size and weight so I'm not concerned with any future lean. Overall I'm gobsmacked every time I see him and will never get rid of him
They should release one of these with that one T-800 who dual wields the two laser rifles that you see in the beginning of Terminator 2, and then make the base to be various rubble and human skulls.
Well that's just f##king awesome love the music in background sir, the T 800 damn it's beautiful, Love your review as always bloody brilliant 👌 By the way your the best channel for horror collectibles on RU-vid!!!
Dam that’s insane,Seen you open it and seen it all in bits then seen you bring it to life is just crazy bro,A just sold My Xm predator and that was a beast to put away,Got this coming soon bro thanks again for the video
thanks for the solid review, mine ships from sideshow sometime next week, not keen on the jigsaw puzzle side of things and thanks for the heads up on being delicate when it comes to putting the feet into the base, can i ask what batteries did u have to buy for the eyes as will get them in over the weekend, once again thanks and congrats,
Totally kick ass. I just got the days old Neca Sarah Connor and John twin set with the t800 arm in the tube as part of it, goddam for the price point, Neca is killing it!
Solid review as always buddy. Forget abt the lean n try to enjoy this beauty at its full potential. Everything from sculpt to paint is great, posture reflects that childhood feeling u mentioned. Company communication was unprofessional at least.
Hey, what do you think about the Prime One T1 Terminator with the police station outfit? Did you think about getting that one for a review with it? Thanks.
Love the review and this piece! How is it holding up 3 years later...I am considering tracking one down. The new T2 1/3 endo also looks great but pieces from the OG are rare...and its one of my favorite movies!
Not that I know of. I will say that I have always wanted a life size one, but every one that I know of has issues with leaning from the weight, so I have stayed away. Hopefully all will be good here.
Yes, but that's the Genisys Endo, not a T-800. Though honestly I like the design of that one just as much as a T-800, just didn't like the movie as much. 🤣
Great review! Can't wait until mines arrive. Hopefully it won't lean too much. Have you ever thought about adding the cables to the forearms of the Endo?
@@HorrorMonsterCollectibles I will be actually. Only thing is I realized it won't be as simple as I initially thought. My original idea was just to buy a couple sets of issue 80 from the Hatchette 1/2 Endoskeleton, but noticed that the forearm cable on the T1 Endo is actually very different compared to the T2 version. The cables on the 1984 Endo is much "thinner." Almost wire-like thin.
Great review! Agree with everything you’ve said, I don’t mind the pose as that’s in the film as long as it stays that way. I’ve got mine on order through sideshow but am quite wary about it leaning. I had the 1:1 on order and after all the leaning issues with those over the years you’d think they’d have fixed it but no they haven’t, brand new ones are buckling. Now this half scale seems to be as well with some collectors. On my buddies one the toes were bent off as it dropped a couple of cm a few days later, P1 told him to glue them back on, lol, then after seeing how much it leaned changed their response to ‘destroy it for a refund’, i feel they are keeping quiet and ignoring the problem, it’s not good enough. I’ve got till January to decide if I want my money back, it’s a shame as I sold a lot of terminator pieces for this to replace them.
Horror & Monster Collectibles Got mine a couple of days ago, everything went smoothly, instructions are far too zoomed in but common sense seems to help more so than their instructions. Left foot toes sit up slightly off the base which is good but with the right ‘damaged’ leg, the toes touch the base, silly they are made out of such fragile plastic, I suppose the best thing to do with this piece is not move it too much as it can sway with the weight, then possibly cause the toes to split or break. Definitely a great looking piece and probably best endo maquette out there now, best T1 without a doubt, correct it is a hard piece to photograph with the pose but looks far better front on. Only issue I really had was 1 small piston you instal in the chest cavity the hole was too small for the pin so had to file a bit of excess paint out. Will do a review soon but overall quite happy with it, if SS’s wolf LSF and dark rider can hold up for so many years just on 1leg I have hope for this piece too, lol.

En Perú acaba de salir y se venden por partes cada 10 días, las entregas se harán en 1 año y costará alrededor de 1200 dólares en total si sumamos el precio de 9.5 dólares por entrega
The model looks very accurate, much more accurate than the Hatchette/Agora T800 models that people are building in 120 issues. Although, the other ones have a lot of pieces that can be articulated.
I was going to order it, but went with the Agora model built instead, as it has metal components, it’s a bit shorter, and nowhere near as heavy (only 13 lbs). You can order by individual packet sets, from a monthly plan to up to 24 months. I just ordered a 6 month batch straight out the gate, so I can build it as soon as possible. It’s going to be a fun build! Love yours too! Yours has that beautiful chrome, the Agora is more like metallic. And of course yours is more imposing and mean looking. The Agora is like a 1/2 Hot Toys, lol.
@@HorrorMonsterCollectibles You don’t need it of course, you have the awesome P1 one. But for those who need a 1/2 Endo that is not as expensive, it’s lighter, and is intrigued by building it themselves, that’s a nice option.
The T-800 did not have a gun or any weapon in this scene that this statue is designed to replicate so it is accurate. It also did not have any lighting except for its eyes so that is correct as well.
Had this preordered but canceled, the lean is not good at all. That being said it's still the best endo to date. Maybe P1 will end up doing the T2 version with the plasma rifle and a better pose which I would much prefer even though I think the first movie is the better of the two.
loved it when its was first previewed but once i saw the stance change changed my mind. Seen lots of statues with lean issue. Still is beautiful but that pose is not for me.
@@gunawanaji1540 some of them are..mine isn't and is very close to the prototype..seems like on some of them they didn't position correctly where the legs meet the torso
