I'm in my 3rd week of tnt. My trainer is great but I find myself missing home and my old life. Truck stop shits and showers and the same old food is getting old. 900 a week after deductions and taxes ain't shit
Yeah bro, it’s definitely an adjustment not going to lie. It is easier once you get your own truck. So you can be on your type of time. if you want meal prep, you can do that and also your pay go up not easy, but just be patient you got it💯
I came from another company so i skipped the training process. Came here with about 700k miles. Four day orientation then went to success leasing for our trucks on a Friday. Twelve of us in the class. We all went back Saturday still no trucks. They said come back Monday. Went back Monday and they had 13 new freightliners ready to go. We cleared the board. And a new upgrade class walked in right behind us looking for trucks and got the bad news. I thought we had walked in just in time to get our trucks but the lady told me that even if we had walked in after them she would have given the trucks to us anyways since we were coming in with experience. That surprised me. Idk that. Time on the job has priority with leasing. It was funny. But it sucked for them. That made me feel good and we kept her busy all day. All 12 trucks were 2019 cascadias but different colors so while everyone else was debating which one to take i chose the only blue one and she let me have it instead of waiting my turn since i was like no. 8 in line. I ran that truck for 3.5 years with only one problem. The fuel pump in the drivers side fuel tank had to be replaced. The check eng lt never even came on. I had to learn prime's way of doing things on the fly but thats all easy stuff everyone can learn themselves. Anyways good luck with the truck and hope it treats you well.
Congratulations bro. It feels good to be done with that tnt bro. Tnt is definitely not for the weak 💪🏾😃 Ps if 30 students in your orientation class, probably 5 will complete tnt 😂
Before they changed the way they did things during orientation they used to make everyone go to the DMV in Springfield for the CDL test. They were losing a lot of people for that too. Then they wised up and made people get the permit before going to Springfield.
