Congratulations I wish you nothing but prosperity! You gained a new subscriber keep doing what you’re doing! I’m sure you know this already but just because it’s a new truck doesn’t mean it won’t have its problems if you keep that in mind when payday comes around you’ll be set! Also TAXES save your money!! But safe travels out there!
You're doing a great job, young brother. Keep putting in that work and make that good money! I just talked to one of the recruiters, and I'm looking to transfer over to Prime by April 1st!
Appreciate you sharing video…..good content, yeah I’m 3 months late but congratulations on your 1st smooth solo load …. Also just a tip as for your freezer smell (which by now you may not have) use vinegar spray it or wipe it down with it, let it sit then wash out. Yeah your truck looks good ….did it come with decals or did you order it & had company place on??
Get urself a dorm fridge from Walmart or HD or Lowe's and save urself a lot of money. Also that mattress from the company store is expensive but if you take care of it it should last two or three years so it's worth it that way. And it's all a tax write off so keep receipts. And since ur starting during winter you need to make sure the bunk heater works really good.
Hey congrats! I start with prime this week! I do have to ask. 1. Could you give me a brief list of what I might need for my truck. 2. Where did you get your camera you’re recording with?
Age matters? A CDL is a skill attainable at any age, I got mine now so looking forward to my first solo as well. Congrats. It’s just that the rates are scary so get all the endorsements as possible
Actually age matters a lot. There is an age limit for getting your CDL. Tf you talking about? Lol Especially driving, age = experience. I'd never trust an 18 year old in a truck. Strictly because of lack of life and driving experience.
Aye brotha you gunna face difficult times and it can sometimes be rough but if you stick it out all it is worth it enjoy it learn as much as you can I’m almost close to my first year out here it’s been one hell of a ride but I love it god bless y’all stay prayed and keep god first 🙏🏾
A little helpful tip on your tandems bro, set your trailer tandems so so that your trailer and drives are almost equal with just a little more weight on your drives. That will give you a little better fuel economy as well as a smoother ride on the road. Good luck on your journey sir.
Hey boss thank you! Ive heard a lot of these other comments before but never this one genuinely lol I really do appreciate it. I’ll share the word im sure I’m not the only one that doesn’t know it helps fuel economy to carry your weight towards the drives 🙏 appreciate it
@@IsThatJustDex Yep balancing out the weights on ur drives and tandems gives you better fuel economy and also a smoother ride. I balance them every time if necessary. Also whenever you get certified weights from a scale use those numbers to calibrate ur gauges and keep them calibrated especially if ur live unloading at the 90. Calibrate the trailer gauge one last time before they start unloading in case ur next pu is a live load. That way you know the gauges are accurate for the next load. Be safe out there.
Or you can push the trailer brake in for about 5 mins then you should be good bro. That way you don’t have to move. Congrats to new beginnings! Keep going we ready to see more 💪🏽💪🏽
Things have come so far. From stopping at the truck stop to use the pay phone to call the shipper. Nowadays u just type in to your gps. Things have changed somewhat for the better.
Congrats on the new start. But next time you can put a regular mattress in your truck for way less. Just measure out the size and get you a nice mattress for less.
the fridges they have are made for those trucks that basically come from the dealership supply companies, they buy in bulk like the truck dealer and get a huge discount but yes i am sure they are making money off of you that is the business of making money!
I know doing your first love solo was a nervous experience hydro for school bus try doing that with live people 70 kids on the school bus very nervous your first time keep your head up young man and good luck.
Hey bro, would you say being a trucker is difficult to learn? I finally found a job place that says they will train. I want to get out of customer support job and try On the road trucking. I am kind of scared I wont be able to back up the trailer and end up failing on the job xD
My first video watching you. Now i want to go back to see how much you paid how much your expenses were to get started from hiring with prime. Did they fly you out or bus ride
tried to go to prime and they fucked me with my paper work being reviewed my recruiter was unprofessional and didnt make sure i had all the info i needed before going so now i dont even wanna do prime anymore
Watched a video from a prime trucker last week where he checked with safety and was told the camera needs to be stationary, not on your head….could get fired for it.
Most companies don’t hire under 21. Don’t let that deter you though. It never hurts to have a CDL. And who knows, you could find someone to hire young people.
$550 for a mattress 😂😂😂..you just got finessed. I would've got a fridge(full size mini), mattress and a inverter for that...straight finessed😂😂😂. Damn Prime went in dry.
Not gone lie most the time I defend prime when I see people saying something like this but I swear it ain’t even feel right 😂😂😂😂😂 my bed at home double the size and quality and it barely costed that 😭
